Goody's Generic Fictional Logos - Page 2

Since the Blue Sox aren't going to be in the LBA anymore, I'm putting the logo I made for them here for grabs. It doesn't really match the style of the others (it was copied directly from an existing real world logo..for starters) but here it is.

No photobucket page. And they're not really uni's, just the jersey logo file and the hat logo file that goes in the top row.

I'll try to get them up somewhere tomorrow.

I didn't even make hat logos for these yet. It just uses the main logo as a hat logo. But I am putting up the jersey logos next to the main logos.

The Laseron Baseball Association was my all-time favorite dynasty report years ago... did you go by any other name other than Goody?

The LBA was a great concept with great graphics and a great website.

It inspired me to create my own Islandian Pro Alliance.

Really miss the LBA.

I think Portlander and Henry were involved along with Dark Horse.

Thanks so much Eugene C. I remember you well. I wish I could do something with the LBA but all of those files are stored somewhere in the USA and I have lived in Korea for 5 years now. I went by Portlander here for awhile before starting a new login and eventually asked the mods to merge the two logins into one. Good to see you so active here still!

Now that I have my software figured out and have knocked off the rust, I'll probably be going back and fixing the previous logos in this thread. I forgot how much I enjoy practicing this stuff and making graphics.

Again I really do appreciate the recognition. There was a lot of guys who helped make the LBA exactly what I wanted it to be. I miss it.

I put in hundreds probably thousands of hours setting up the last version of the LBA which didn't last as long as I hoped it would have. version 1 from the early 2000's is probably what you were referring to with your dynasty report (and I remember reading it in the past and again just a few months ago). v2 I spent much more time setting up and it it just didn't turn out the same due to life and I guess it just wasn't the right timing with owners who joined and everything.

I wish I had those files, especially the name and world files. The custom name files, world, flags.... that took I think over a year to create.

What you guys did was fabulous... there never will be another dynasty league like the Laseron Baseball Association... your team names and nicknames were unique... loved your uniforms... I think they were full-length uniforms... loved the ethnic diversity of your league and the players' unique names... loved your map, too... your graphics were especially well done... really enjoyed your website, where I think each of the owners would post stuff about their team... it really was a truly remarkable achievement... the LBA was a special gift to me and gave me endless hours of enjoyment reading about it.

Sorry, to digress and get off topic... get busy doing some great graphics for us.
