If I remember correctly ,during one season in the mid-1970s,The Toronto Maple Leafs used a rotating three goalie (Favell,Eddie Johnston,Dunc Wilson)system. I can't ever remember that happening before or afterwards. So the question that is begged too be asked, will FHM follow suit in its game and have the three goalie system for that team during that season or will there be an option where any team could use the three goalie system?

Since the lockout, the Leaf wish they could use a 3 goalie system, all 3 at the same time....

If I could put together an All-Time Worst Maple Leaf team-the goalies(off the top of my head) would be Curt Ridley,Bunny Larouque and Vincent Trembley.

My plan is to start at the earliest date possible (47-48) with a two division, eight team NHL. Boston, Chicago, Detroit and New York in the American Division and Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto in the Canadian Division.

I'll do a draft with the historic players from that era to fill the eight teams. The league will play a 70 game schedule and start to expand the league in the early sixties but to only add a couple teams each expansion instead of how the NHL did it.

By the 1980s I'll have 24 teams and I'm not sure if I'll stick at that number or expand again in the 1990s to get to 30 teams. Hopefully later versions of the game will have more developments with minor leagues and junior hockey so I'll adjust things as the game changes.

I plan on playing many different historical files, but for my first one I'll likely take over the 1985-1986 Habs.

Here's hoping that the game identify's the fictional players from the non-fictional players. I'm more familar with baseball players so its not a problem with OOTP but hockey will be another story because of worldwide play.

It was just a little jab between a Nordiques fan and an Habs fan.

I was saying that Alain Coté's goal in the 1987 Adams Final game 5 that was refused by Kerry Fraser was good.

Indeed. Guy helped to deny the best matchup in the Stanley Cup since '67 for a boring team with an idiot coach and one great player.

Are we talking about the time Doug Gilmour head butted Wayne Gretzky's stick??
