I do print out the standings each year and the pitching and batting leader pages and put them in a loose leaf binder. But as far as anyone beating your office display I would have to go with I don't think so

I admit I am powerless over OOTP. Without it, my life is as boring as watching the Golden Girls.

The dollar bill would be a neat gift for winning a league online championship, or maybe it's just me but I still think they're pretty cool.

Says the guy who writes all of the best OOTP nerd utilities.

FYI, I was using them all today as I set up my new fictional OOTP 16 league. They are amazing and marvelously useful. Thank you a million times once more.

Jazzrack, I think what you do is great!

You get out of things what you put into them.

I can think of one notable exception to that rule...

That is awesome, I wish I had the extra cash to do that because I probably would do the same.

Wish the game would run on an iPad

For my historical league, I make sure everybody on the real-life rosters for a given year gets into at least one game, to the point of "force feeding" certain relievers by playing out games for teams other than my own. I also make baseball cards for every major league player every season, even going so far as to make a card for each team a guy played on if a player played for more than one team in a season. And, of course, real-life transactions. Not to mention real-life minor league teams, complete with historical uniforms when I can find pictures of them.

No wonder fictional leagues take so much less time for me than historicals...

I really like your take on the wrong team names for various regions. Could not agree more. I think that, ironically, when the Jazz left New Orleans for Salt Lake City, they could have renamed themselves...wait for it...the (latter day) Saints ! Lakers is especially ridiculous as well. How about "The Hollywood Stars" ? And if you had an expansion baseball team in San Francisco, instead of the NY Giants moving there, what WOULD you name them?
