Help naming teams in state-themed league? - Page 2

Utah Arches, named after their unusual rock formations. Or maybe Zions, Canyons, or Salt Dogs.

I have a league set up in almost identical way. Just go to each states Wikipedia page and pull something from their motto or state rock, flower, traditions, etc. Took me 10 minutes to name all my teams

North Texas Panhandlers or North Texas Twisters (lots of tornadoes in the panhandle)
East Texas Derricks (referencing the oil industry)
South Texas Defenders (referencing the Alamo)

I used East Texas instead of West Texas because East Texas is far more likely to have a team.
