Which is why I didn't consider "Archers" for St. Louis due to the franchise originating in the 19th century. I prefer team nicknames that reflect the appropriate time period they originate from.

St. Louis Blues.

St. Louis Steamers or Steamboats are both nice too, but the Riverboats has a nicer ring to it in my opinion.

St. Louis Arches

No love for the Perfectos?

That was the name of the St. Louis National League team in 1899.

St. Louis Cannons. Then you can use the phrase, "St. Louis Cannons on deck." Player not performing? Fire that Cannon. Your crushing the opposing pitcher? He's Cannon fodder.

Well folks, I'm leaning towards using the nickname "Steamers." I'm in the process of creating jerseys and caps for the St. Louis Steamers along with a backstory. Uni's will be from the franchise's inception in 1882 to current day.

I wanted to provide an update. I settled on the St. Louis Steamers and created uni's and logos. I used Lafayette53's Brewers as a template in developing the Steamers concept.

The Steamers franchise originated in 1882 as the St. Louis Maroons. In 1898, the franchise was purchased by steamboat shipping magnate E.J. White. Thus the name..... "Steamers."

Thanks!

I used Adobe Photoshop to create the uni's. The 19th century collar layer is part of a PSD template that I received/downloaded. I can't recall specifically who created the collar layer, but the all the layer creators are credited within the PSD template.

Even though Justafan's creator is an outstanding tool, I create all my uni's using Adobe Photoshop.

I use to create uni's for the mods boards but, have not had the time to do so much as of late.

I use this one too. It fits because Ralston Purina is based in St. Louis
