What's ridiculous is the amount of tickets that places like StubHub can buy. This is the real problem. StubHub buys thousands of good seats and then prices them out of range for the typical home fan (what? There's an income disparity between Cleveland and Chicago? Who knew?). Per capita income in Chicago is more than twice Cleveland's. It's the same during the regular season. I usually spend the extra money to use my company's club seats, but I like to look at the seats for sale on the Indians' website before those games. There are very few seats showing up anywhere but the upper decks, but when I go to the game the attendance comes in at 15-20,000. You didn't have that problem in the mid to late 90s and the place was always packed, and you didn't generally see other teams with large contingents. Not the case, anymore.

Yeah, I'm not really banging on Cleveland fans. External sales of Game 7 of World Series tix is not catered to the local Average Joe fan, as was obvious by the shots of Eddie Vedder and Charlie Sheen and Bill Murray.

Maybe if I was 20-30 years younger. My bar-hopping days are long gone. Great Lakes Brewery is a great place, though. I have fond memories of Friday nights with my (then) best friend, stopping off there on our way to the west side of the Flats.
