Cool. I have a UBA-like league going, in fact it's my longest running league. It will be awesome to see them running around the ballparks in 3D.

I tried to link to some of your UBA posts from Year 1 through 56 but only found the early years. Several times your http link gave me one of those "this domain is now available" messages. Meaning, I think, that your old http link is now defunct. Are your simulated stats now available at another, new http link?
I thought I was the only one who knew all the cities in which the teams were based, having done some library research back in the early 80s. Good on you. Ever wondered why Coover didn't place a team in Chicago? While paging through your posts, I think I recall you warning someone about the last chapter. It's only been in the past couple of years that I've figured out what Coover was doing in the last chapter: an homage to Joyce's monstrous 'Finnegans Wake'. Coover himself was once a young, impressionable English major. Anyway, sincere thanks for your work and please share if you have a new site where I can view your simulated stats...Patrick McCabe |
