The new uniforms are already paying dividends. Royals win the first game of the season 9-7. Two homeruns by Duda, one by Gordon. 32 total hits in this game ... yikes.

With the minor league system in the bottom third, the Marlins are looking harder and harder to take over lol.

I think I'd have to put my Rangers a lot higher on that list. They have probably the worst pitching in the league, none of their highly touted prospects are really turning out, they mostly can't hit, and their one star just retired. They would be above teams like the Marlins simply due to ownership willing to spend...but what do you spend on when you have holes everywhere?
I DO think they'd be a fun team to manage for just those reasons, though. Everyone likes to criticize the local GM...this gives you a chance to see what you could actually do yourself! |
