This was one big reason I stopped playing the game. Teams don't make trades to help themselves late in the season. That gives an insurmountable advantage to the human players who do make trades, unless they want to apply a ridiculous house rule.

I think house-ruling trades is necessary either way. It's simply too easy to build a powerhouse team with excessive numbers of trades, even with the difficulty turned up, because there are no built-in limits as to how often you can do it. I didn't even realize how many trades I had been doing.

We made some tweaks based on some things we were seeing and some of the feedback we've seen as well (including here).

Hopefully things should be a bit better in the next patch.

Thanks for adrdressing this.

Now if only we can do something about the, "Are you interested in trading for Joe Schmo?" emails where the AI clearly has no interest in making a reasonable trade.

AI frequency doesnt change the outcome much. The highest frquency still result in a drastically low average than what we see in reality.

For the most part everyone has a high setting that is why its a problem when the number of trades are so low even with the frequency setting at its highest.

I’ll join the chorus hoping devs look at trade balance. Teams who should be all in or rebuilding, as well as teams who are rebuilding not willing to part with veterans for anything less than your two best prospects.

So I see, once a year is not good regardless of setting.
