The friends feature is actually one of the best additions to this game.

We have a family with lots of accounts and it has been the entertainment of the day/evening when the kids face us or each other.

I agree that it would be cheating if someone adjusted the lineup to determine the winner but I don't believe this is the case here.
With so many people staying on top of this and paying attention, I have seen very few legitimate cheating instances like this.

Some people enjoy a challenge to get a single team to the finals, others enjoy the
challenge to move two teams to the finals at the same time in the same league.

I don't see a problem with either of them.

This is exactly why we want the friends feature to work the way it does. There are many families who share a game license between father & son or brothers. If we'd prevent them from playing in a league together it would definitely make a lot of people sad.

So, if you suspect someone with the same account having two teams in the same league and is intentionally throwing games to help one team (which is a violation of the EULA), then please report this in-game and we can investigate. Other than that, the friends feature will continue to work the way it does.
