These are fantastic! I like using white at home as well. I renamed everything correctly and the icons do show up..however, it seems that the players are facing the wrong way. How can I fix that? If it is not fixable, could you please share your version with white jerseys at home?

Not just renaming the files, you need to turn the icons as well (using photoshop/GIMP or any other graphics software). In-game icons are hardcoded so home team always face the left and road team faces the right.

I also miss those years when home team wears white. Here is the download link for the home white & road color version:

Thanks so much bro, you are the best! Really enjoying seeing these icons when I play....helps with the immersion. One more random question. Do these icons work with your rinks? When I tried to import the rinks, it didn't seem to work. No big deal if it doesn't work, I just was curious. I respect the time and effort you put into creating these items for us and sharing them. Appreciate you!

Yeah, Icons and Rinks work together. How did you get the rink files? If you save the image directly from my posts, the file names use hyphen instead of underscore. The image hosting site I use automatically changes the file name when I upload.

For example,

Wrong file name: rink-anaheim-ducks
Correct file name: rink_anaheim_ducks

Just rename the files yourself, or download the ZIP (which contains the correct format).

I just saw a problem with the St. Louis Blues. They were still square. Could it be the nameing of st_louis? Maybe needs stlouis instead? All others work fine.

Try st__louis, two spaces instead of one. Usually works for me.

Oooooo! I guess I did not play with or against the Blues last year so I didn't even see this problem. Thanks for pointing out that we need extra space for the dot.

I am currently working on V2 of these icons, basically modifying some of the weird shapes from V1 and making the icons look cleaner. When I am done with this, I'll make a pack and also correct St.Louis' file names. Thanks!

When you do this, the players would go beyond the rink in the corners, right? I suppose if the shape of the rink really bothers you, this is something you have to live with, for now.

The real rink shape from Faceoff.net does look good though And if we really want to be picky, there should also be space reserved for the bench. It's something to look into down the line.

I am starting to update the first post and show some of the V2 teams that I have done. You guys can check it out and determine for yourself which version you like. For V2, I've made the following changes:
- Modify some colors to be more accurate
- Adjust skater and goalie sizes so their proportions are a bit better on the ice
- Improve goalie icon
- Simplify skater icon so it is more clean (V1 legs and skates looked like of weird)

Overall, I feel V2 should look better in-game. I actually haven't played the game that much yet, because I spent most of my free time working on these, LOL.

I find that the puck and players don't very often go into those corner areas and when they do it doesn't bother me.

Thanks for continuing to improve these icons! Since this is a work in progress, let me suggest a correction to Boston home jerseys. They should be black with yellow shoulders, but you have the opposite.

Yes, I realized that. I think when I did V1, I was looking at a retro Bruins jersey. You know in the 50s or 60s, they wore yellow at home.

V2 has the correct Boston home jersey in black with yellow shoulders. When I am done with V2, maybe I'll go back and correct V1 version. Or we can just consider the yellow jersey the third jersey?
