Note the selection that I highlighted. The "exe" suffix was the only one that I recognized, and I did not want the portable version, so I clicked it and downloaded this file: I went to my Downloads folder and double-clicked the file: Here is something that might throw you; I use Windows Defender which does not recognize (or, more accurately, authorize) Eriq's program. Something about a missing certificate, I believe. This protection is to my benefit, so I don't mind, but some people may be put off. The key is to trust your source, and obviously I do. So I clicked "More info" (a must in order to proceed): That gave me the option to "Run anyway": Continued ...

The rest is pretty standard procedure:
Look for the program start icon on your Desktop:

My pleasure, guys. Here's a follow-up. Underneath some of those windows, this was awaiting discovery:
Again, since I trust the source (and how!), I clicked "Allow access."

I guess I'm officially old because I can't figure out how to actually get the letters and numbers onto the jersey.

EDIT: Or were you speaking of loading specific fonts for letters and numbers? EDIT 2: I should shut up, because I really am guessing at this point, but to load a local font, this is the button; and again, I am guessing but I think it sets the stage for the game to enter names and numbers, else you would be making a uniform for each individual player:

I always find downloading from github so confusing as there are multiple ways to do so ("go to file", "code", "releases"). I've both used Eriq's utilities in the past and I've written myself notes on how to use github, but even I couldn't figure it out again. Thanks for your step by step visual instructions, Deja Bru!

To be clear I also can't get the team name on the front of these jerseys, either. I understand the names and numbers are a different animal.

One thing to note is that the font file absolutely has to be placed in the "jersey_fonts" folder for the game to load it. OOTP will automatically load a file if there's one that has the right naming convention or you can manually specify which file to use in the in-game uniform editor. If OOTP can't autoload a file it will use the "default" one which, for some reason, they have made the Cincinnati Reds font. |

Ok forget the back of the jersey. Is there a button I have to push to put the team name on the front after I have selected a font and set all the colors? It's giving me blank fronts.
(I just know I'm going to end up feeling so stupid).
