Have you looked at your "SP stamina" modifier? Could part of your problem be autocalc is changing that and SP aren't able to throw as many pitches, so they are being pulled?

Notice in atlbrave1's screens, the first set the modifier is 1.00 in the second it is .850. That is where my issue with how long SP can pitch is rooted.

In my on-going imported league I change the SP to 1.000 as it always seems to come in below that, though I don't recall is specifically being .850. IIRC my game will import with my 1.000 but on my first autocalc (and each season after that?) it drops back down below that to .850(?) or something like that.

At first I didn't notice until games were played opening day when my 6\8 stamina SP ran out of gas about 10-15 pitches sooner than I thought he should. As I compared the old vs the new season settings I saw the drop in SP stamina modifier. Put it on 1.000 and my guy was again hitting his expected total pitches.

Since then, after autocalc runs, I will set the SP stamina to 1.000 if I find AC has knocked it down.

Don't know if this applies or helps, but it is something else to look at.

I still would recommend trying to set up without using the auto-calc feature. Autocalc under calculates errors and stolen base attempts by a large margin so you might want to look at just using modifiers rather than autocalc.

What version are you using, 23? In 24, there is a "Use pre-calculated modifiers for accuracy" button. What does it do? I can't find anything in the manual about it either?

That setting appears to only be there for Historical.

Thanks. I wonder if I should have it turned on? Cheers!

FWIW, I did just run autocalc for my new season. My pitcher fatigue was at -1, AC changed it to -2. My SP stamina was at 1.000, AC changed it to .967.

I go in and change them back to -1 and 1.000 and head into my season. This is pretty much normal for me.
