The Guadeloupe Baseball Federation have announced the formation of an Independent League known as the Ligue Marie-Galante. The league is meant to be a league for the people of the island called Marie-Galante. The league plans to launch at the same time of the new LBG season. Here are the teams for the inaugural season of the LMG:

Vieux Fort Defenders
Saint-Louis Wildcats

Division Sud:

I'm only going to cover the Ligue Marie-Galante at the end of each season, just to not complicate things. Along with that, one lucky player from the league will always be sent up to the Ligue de Baseball Guadeloupe. Their ratings will be decreased by 30 points however their potential will stay the same as long as they are under the age of 25. If not, their potential will also be decreased by 30.

SEMI FINALS RECAP

Both Series' would end up being sweeps, one for the Point-a-Pitre Guardians, and the other one for the Petit-Canal Cannons.

Let's start with the Guardians-Cannons Series. The series wasn't that close at all to be honest. The Cannons, despite being the previous year's champions, didn't put up much of a fight in my opinion. All of their games would be between 2 Runs or more.
Series MVP: Julien Laurent.

Now we'll talk about the Bears-Penguins series. It was, despite being a sweep, honestly kind of close. In the last two games, the Trois-Riveries Bears were only 1 run behind the Penguins. However, it wasn't meant to be. Sorry Bears fans.
