Should be able to unzip and place the .lg file right on to your saves folder and fire it up!

Hey gang,

Help me keep an eye on Ohtani and his DTD arm injury I placed on him for 12 months. I also gave him slight LF ratings and put him as DH. I’ve not advanced any days yet and not sure if the AI will understand to NOT place him on IL and just use him as DH since it’s a “substantial” arm injury. In “ real life” we know he will just DH in 2024 season.

If anyone has advanced to regular season so far just let me know what AI is doing with Ohtani (IL or just leaving him as DH). Thx!

I simmed to May and the Dodgers put Ohtani on the 60 day IL before the season started.

May have to find another solution for him….

Possibly may need to remove his pitching Stamina down to zero only for this year and remove the injury?

EH….ok here is a Shohei work-around to NOT have him pitch in 2024, but offense only…

Update his pitcher Stamina, Control, and Movement all to “1” out of 250, and remove his arm injury.

The AI will then recognize him as a DH and not a P.

Then once the 2024 season concludes, just update his Endurance, Movement, and Control all back to what is currently is now in roster set.

I'm having trouble loading my photo files to the 2024 rosters. Is anyone else having this issue. I'm on a Mac. Great work by the way CBLCardinals. Thank you so much for the work you put in to this.

One thing I’ve noticed is some pitchers with similar names to former position players have their hitting stats or something. A few pitchers are wildly good at hitting. Other than that, lovin these rosters

Yeah good call - I can see how that would happen.

Can you post the names here?

Essentially I used a system to convert Steamer stats over to OOTP ratings in a large spreadsheet. Matching for said ratings from workbook to game was by first name_last name.

I did catch a few of these but certainly not all of them :/

I'm just revoking his Two-Way player setting until his UCL surgery has healed. Not simming the season yet. Enormous thanks for all your excellent work. Saves the game for me after the downgrade in available leagues.

First off thanks for doing this again! Just a very small thing I noticed is that Jake Cronenworth's extension is not updated in the save. It's an easy enough thing to fix myself but I figured I'd throw it out there for future updates!
