One of the big things I saw in the list: The Honkball (Dutch baseball league) and the British Baseball League are back as licensed leagues. One step closer to the ultimate baseball simulator. (Bad joke incoming: "We're honking with this one y'all!")

Question for devs regarding the returning Dutch and British leagues: I assume their accuracy will be on par or better than what we had in OOTP 23 and before, is that assumption correct? Will the stadiums used by those leagues' teams get custom 3D models at some point, like with the KBO stadiums?

(Dutch and British baseball leagues are still no [禁断のリーグ]* but I am VERY glad we are getting some international leagues back. Hopefully this is a good sign for other leagues returning in the future. Hooray!)

* - you know, that league

Looks awesome.

Do the PT team chemistry changes also work on regular franchise mode?

Nice list. Lots of under the hood things and some nice long asked for changes.

Last year the hard trading mode was added. This year we get speed moved to it's own setting with baserunning aggressiveness being new, a reworked ratings system for all players, some control over player development, and a whole lot more. Thank you for continuing to read the suggestions of users and implementing them in the game.

One may not be able to see the improvements added every year, some of the improvements may not benefit every user's style of play, but every year
you guys do a great job of making the game better.

I'm too old to wish away my time anymore, so I'll just say I'm looking forward to getting v25 Friday and spending the day importing my game, getting all of my settings where I want them, and exploring finding the "fun little nuggets" that aren't mentioned in the change list.

More accurate, yes. But no 3D ballparks, that would be too much work for us and not worth the effort. Those ballparks would look like low minor league parks at best anyway.

No, those are two completely different systems.

Really intrigued by the player development options. Do we know how they do/don't interact with fall and winter leagues? Can a prospect assigned to the fall league be also be assigned to the lab?

having played in the so called "British baseball stadium", they are nothing more than a field with some temporary fences. some have permanent backstops! Really looking forward to seeing what is in the British baseball leagues and if there would be expansion to the local leagues across the UK. Would love to help OOTP on this if I could!

Game was unplayable on my small-screen but HiDPI displays. It was either huge and unusable or tiny and unreadable.

This list looks fantastic and addresses a TON of the pain points I've experienced over the years. Very, VERY glad I preordered.

My fictional HS->MLB universe takes place entirely in the UK. It's fantastic.

One thing I didn't see, maybe I am missing it. Are there changes to support these new heavily backloaded contracts? IE the Dodgers.

Right now we only have the National Baseball League, but we're hoping to expand and add in some of the leagues further down the ladder over time.

They will for sure, but at the moment we're still working on getting everything in the game. So Britain f.e., a few of the 2023 players are still to be added to the db and 2023 stats are not yet in for either Honkbal or Britain. We also do not yet have 2024 rosters as these have not yet been released. Ratings also still need to be tweaked.

Hopefully will have the stats in by the full release Friday or very shortly after at worst and rosters shortly after they are published.

When I watched the trailer and saw the BBF logo come up I was so excited! It's it just the NBL or all of the leagues under it too? Can't wait to see that as I follow British baseball closely and might see a few familiar names.

Just NBL for now. We'll try to work further down the pyramid over time.

How will importing past seasons work with the new player ratings? Will players get a stealing and framing rating or will that be left blank?

Okay if there is anyone out there that will be able to download when released, please look at Ohtani's contract and let us know what it looks like. Thanks in advance.
