Pre Order is in

Just made my pre order. I'm excited to see what the team Markus put together does going forward.

Lot's of cool new stuff. I'm excited by dev lab 2.0 and draft day.

Interested in how the new scoreboards look. Can't wait to see the Wrigley's scoreboard.

Thanks you devs for all your hard work. Can't wait for another year!

For scoreboards that show the scores of other games i.e. Wrigley, would the out of town scores be shown?

Not at the moment, no. For now we are mapping the main (and potentially secondary) scoreboard of parks. For each there's a selection of data that we could display that updates as you play.

Exciting news!!

This looks awesome! Always my favorite time of year. We will certainly miss Markus not leading the release, but it looks like his legacy is going to continue into future renditions of the game.

Curious, who is the new CEO of OOTP by the way? I was wondering who took over for Markus after he left.

Brilliant and more than I expected. Thanks for the screen shot.

I'm taking the non-response as a no. Brutal.

Matt, you didn't mention there were screen shots on Steam. Shame on you.

Draft home screen, nice.

Can this mapping be added to custom 3d parks as well, or will it only be available on the parks that come with the game?

Been hoping for this announcement, super excited!

Quick question: I'm not sure if I am remembering correctly but last year was there a 3-day early access for those who pre-ordered through the OOTP website? I was able to get tickets to the Tokyo Series and my flight is on the 11th and I was hoping to play OOTP26 the whole flight. If the 3-day early access is still a thing I'd be able to play but if not I'd have to wait for my flight home.

Take my money! I hope there are some graphical bump-ups in addition to the animated scoreboards (which is great, by the way). Looking forward to 26

The progression bars in the lab look good. I like that in the development focus on the side there is a small table explaining the gains or losses of each. And now I see that there are separate bars for S M C and pitches (excellent) before it was all together and it was difficult to develop a pitching without affecting the rest of the attributes. In the draft image I'm left wondering if the sortable tab would be the previous view. But it looks pretty fun. And a small detail that pleases me is to see that under the overall and potential in the player's profile there is now development risk. I think this is great.

Images are on steam…

There's some more images on the pre-order page as well, and in the email that was sent out.

For the draft, yes, the old view is still there, but the new page gives you a more focused view, shows you the top few recommendations from your scout at a glance, and integrates in with the Combine which is where you can get the deeper scouting on players.

And yes, the development risk should help give another view, whether someone is more likely a safe development option, or a real risky click.
