I read the instructions for the thread and it says not to report incorrect players being on teams' 40-man rosters, just curious -- should we expect 40-man roster issues to be fixed by launch?

Sorry for a potentially dumb question. I don't know if I've ever looked at the standard roster set during the beta before, so it is just surprising to see the 40 man rosters with only 26 guys on them.

There are two players named Olin Johnson in the 2026 draft pool. They appear to be the same person (same birthday, college, etc.) but one is a freshman version and the other is the sophomore version.

Eventually, yes we do really want to.

It's just a lot of work since that's a lot of teams and players to recreate from scratch. Working on it little by little.

We had someone from the league who was going to help but I think life got in the way for them.

A number of guys are at the wrong school (Liam Doyle and Andrew Fischer should both be at Tennessee)

Players that haven't played baseball in several years (Aiden Fitzsimmons,Akron)

There are college players that are committed to other colleges

Gerry Salisbury should be the Pitching coach for DSL Brewers Gold (Brewers DSL teams should be Blue and Gold, they changed them from being 1/2)

He's in the database as a pitcher but not a coach

Fischer and Doyle are at Tennessee in the db. So it's likely a bug if that doesn't show in game. We'll have to check into that.

For other draft players, the whole pool is pretty much a constant work in progress. We'll keep adding to it and updating it through the draft and beyond.

Jared Triolo is not rated to play 2nd base. He won the Gold Glove for utility player in the NL. He played 60 games at 3B and 47 at 2B. He had 6 Defensive Runs Saved at 2B. He should definitely be rated for 2nd Base. He should probably be rated for 1B as well as he will likely play fair amount at 1B, but he won the Gold Glove because of his play at both second and third.

zfarrow Bat Boy Join Date: Apr 2014 Posts: 8	I read the instructions for the thread and it says not to report incorrect players being on teams' 40-man rosters, just curious -- should we expect 40-man roster issues to be fixed by launch? Sorry for a potentially dumb question. I don't know if I've ever looked at the standard roster set during the beta before, so it is just surprising to see the 40 man rosters with only 26 guys on them.

jeffw3000 Major Leagues Join Date: Jun 2009 Posts: 314	Jared Triolo is not rated to play 2nd base. He won the Gold Glove for utility player in the NL. He played 60 games at 3B and 47 at 2B. He had 6 Defensive Runs Saved at 2B. He should definitely be rated for 2nd Base. He should probably be rated for 1B as well as he will likely play fair amount at 1B, but he won the Gold Glove because of his play at both second and third.
