A new franchise to NABO in '26, and I did not have a good idea for them. I didn't want to do something "dolphins" related or the usual stuff. So, researching Jacksonville I learned that they are the birthplace of Southern Rock ... well, that's something I can work with .... so it's the Jacksonville Jamboree.

Havana usually has the color scheme of the Cuban National Team, but that combination was already taken .... So, they get the water theme.

This was the team I used in one of the greatest baseball games ever made, High Heat 2000. Also, the first game I ever made custom/mods on. Tampa uses the color scheme of the best/worst NFL uniforms in history.

Port au Prince (Haiti), "Pirates of Caribbean" theme. Pretty straight forward. I like the cap logo quite a bit.

I would imagine everyone that makes fictional franchises uses this one. Orcas are a cool mascot and Orlando is pretty much known for one thing, Sea World.

Original NABO franchise. Loved the logo, made the team. Miami Vice colors as any 80s kid would do. "Vice City" would also make a good franchise.

Another classic team. I think I've used this franchise from Hardball series, Front Page Sports, to Madden11 custom teams.

Probably the best cap logo in the organization. Another traditional team I've used.

I think I've generally used "San Diego Surf" as a franchise before OOTP, but I saw this logo a long time ago and wanted to use it .... so I tied it into Sand Diego's famous zoo, to arrive at the San Diego Silverbacks.

Another team I used in Madden11, and it's a natural "phit" with Phoenix and Pharoahs starting with the 'Ph'. I like the custom jersey sleeves to match the stripes in the logo and to create a unique uniform within the franchise. Phoenix replaces Mesa in the '26 version due to metro population size.

Another team I've used from Madden11 onward, with the "Shark" play on words for an expert card player. Previously, LV used the powder blue and yellow color combo of the LV flag, but in '26 they get the switch to Green and Silver.

Sacramento is new franchise in NABO '26 and one that I have never used in game/universe I've played. I saw this Sliders logo featuring a red-eared slider from a localish team's facebook page and was interested in using it. Finding out that sliders are common in Sactown, it was a go.

Originally, this universe was to be using the average modifiers from the 1980s, the most balanced (and best) decade of baseball. But, something went goofy with the league totals and/or modifiers ... and it turned out to just be a BABIP league with not very many K's or BB's. Looking at the SB totals from the preseason projections tell me that something is off with the SB totals. I'm just suing neutral (1.000) modifiers, but the league totals must still be from the 80s and elevated some. I'll look into it.

Another Madden 11 franchise (limited mascot choices), and the original mascot was a bandit/desperado (naturally). However, when I saw this logo of a fox, I got the idea to take the "fox in the hen house" situation and have it represent outlaws/thieves.

This franchise originally (years ago) was the Southside Syndicate, a tribute to a great game (Syndicate Wars) and the city's traditional reputation as the Hitmen or ties to the mob. But, that was kind of played out with me, so I was looking to do something specific about the state, and I didn't want to use the state bird (Cardinals, because I'm a cardinal fan, and it was already used by the old Chicago Cardinals football team), so I came across whitetail deers, IL's state mammal or some such crap. As soon as I thought of the name Whitetails, it was obvious to use Chicago's nickname of the "Windy City" to get Windy City Whitetails. The very 1st OOTP universe I played (21?), I used the Windy City Whitetails.

The color scheme is from the flag of Chicago/police.

I have always used Wisconsin Warpath as one of my teams. In OOTP, I switched to Warriors, for a reason I cannot remember. But, here they are.

Originally, I was using the Missouri Mules in tribute to a kid that I coached in HS that pitched the UCM Mules to the D2 CWS some years ago, but I faded on that idea. Rotating to the related aspect of St Louis being closely paired with Clydesdales, I went to the Shires/Draft horse route and finished with ST Louis Shires. It it what it is. This is the franchise I'll be using in this iteration.
