I just don't understand how any team makes such consistently bad, at times, even stupid QB decisions. It just defies logic at some point.

I remember how thrilled I was when they took Johnny Football ahead of the Cowboys' pick. I was worried that Jerry would do something stupid if Manzel was on the board, but Cleveland stole his thunder!

That is just part of the wonder and mystery of Cleveland football!

Some say we are cursed. Others say the curse only applies to baseball, because of the crazy trade of Rocky Colavito in 1960 to Detroit by GM Frank "Trader" Lane. Whatever. The only thing we know for sure is that the career of young Mr. Sanders will go the way of almost every other Cleveland QB since 1999. They did Baker Mayfield wrong, but in retrospect, maybe he was lucky to get out when he did!

I know that there are the gap years, but the QB situation there was a mess at the end of Browns 1.0 Sipe and Bernie gave you a nice stable run though.

I hope the kid makes it there (or somewhere). The NFL needs at least some of that Primetime vibe in the league.

Only difference is that Clark has talent.

I just hope he doesn't get injured. A recurring theme among Clevelanders is the weakness of our offensive line many, if not most, years. Oh well. At least his time here will be a distraction from daily life, and heaven knows we need distractions these days.
