This is awesome, thanks!

Someone more savvy than me should make filters for each of the archetypes listed

How do I remove these from player profiles, specifically the 'percentile rankings'? I prefer the classic view with the ratings and summary. Also, how do I change the ratings view? For example, I don't care about PBABIP or HR Allowed, I just want to see stuff, movement, control, and then pitches on a pitcher.

It'd be good if a glossary/explainer page was added to the game outlining this sort of information.

Great piece of work though 👍

One of your extensions or your network admin is blocking something from running that Mega requires. The file is still active and reachable with Firefox (just checked).

For those wanting a bit more depth into each of those categories, but not written for statisticians, I highly recommend A Fan's Guide to Baseball Analytics. Its like something out of the "for Dummies" series of books but also has some good humor so its a decent read.
Thanks for recommending the book. While I am familiar with most of the new stats I've never sat down and read any book on the subject. Figured it was time and your suggestion was the push I needed. I was going to get it for my Kindle but thought that might be a bit of a pain to navigate when I wanted to see something quick. So picked up a hard copy that I can keep on my desk where I can flip pages as needed.

It's a great book! I have a copy on my desk at all times.

Count me as another owner of the book. I've read it cover to cover more than once and refer to it very often when watching baseball or playing baseball games. I even made flash cards to help me keep the stuff in memory. I've moved on to more advanced books since, like The Book (Tango), but still refer to Castrovince's for easy reference.

This is something I struggle with. I love ebooks with how you can so easily search for a word or phrase or bookmark it to come back to it later, but at the same time I just love having physical books. Some people laugh that our living room is like a library (we're both avid book collectors, but truth be told she reads way more than I do). So I often end up with both, but with reference books like this I'd rather go for the ebook so I can easily search it and bookmark it.

Here's a few analytic charts right from A Fan's Guide to Baseball Analytics. I created these charts so I could easily keep them on my desk in front of me when I'm evaluating players, instead of referring to the book all the time. Now, if you want to know the story behind each statistic, A Fan's Guide to Baseball Analytics explains everything in a clear and concise manner and is well worth owning.

I'm ordering the book as I type this. I've used FanGraphs in the past to become familiar with the newer stats but I like the idea of a book that singularly references all this stuff in a book format.

The ratings tables you created are great and much appreciated.

One of my favorite new features in OOTP 27 is the introduction of advanced stats. It gives me such a deeper looking into my players performances, and I find myself just spending so much time analyzing every player on my roster. It really lets you get a much bigger view of the players overall performance.

However, I know how overwhelming it can be for new players, so I've uploaded this handy little cheat sheet with an explanation of all the advanced stats and what they mean.

If you're a beginner to baseball, or just a beginner to advanced stats, I hope this can help you learn and evaluate your players better!

Where does one find the FIELDING RV and BASERUNNING RV?
