Close call last night as it said Cleveland would prevail 1-0 but instead it was the Rays who were 1-0 winners. Now 19/29 on the season.

Word came down that SP Ryan Pepiot is out for the season as his hip problem got so bad he'll require surgery. He was already on the 60-day IL.

Meanwhile the Rays are oddly 13-2 vs AL opponents this season but only 5-10 against the NL. The bad news is they're playing the Giants tonight, and OOTP agrees:

Lefty reliever Garrett Cleavinger comes off the IL and Yoendrys Gomez is DFA'd to make room. Also Yandy Diaz tweaked his side yesterday and is out today but doesn't think he'll need the IL.
