It looks like I left a couple boxes unchecked, so I had no award winners from the ML and RL and OOTP did not let me manually select them either. *@&^#Y(!@Y#(*!&#)!(*_@&^!#^*%#!^#@)*!(&*
Time to spend some time manually choosing all which I did not want to do. My bad.

CBO Awards
Well, I messed up my awards, which looks like it will mess up my player histories, at least for the icons. I will edit the player histories to add the awards I messed up. I won't list all the individual batters and defensive awards here, except for the CBO Top Players at each position.
BL - Elder MVP Award - LF Po Greenzone, The Slog Sentinel SP Award - SP Matt Pageturner, Finch Farm Star Paladin RP Award - CL Aaron Geneva, East Boston Prep IL - Father MVP Award - SS Austin Engill, Abernathy Advanced Systems SP Award - (I messed this up, too, and allowed a RP to win, the winner below, so I am selecting my own) - SP Tim Fusion, Sunshine Tidings BioScience RP Award - CL Tiny Greene, Sunshine Tidings ML - (I did not select "Let AI vote" and OOTP did not let me vote, and I did not realize this until the day of the MVP Award voting. Therefore, I am manually selecting all winners and will add the award to their history, but it won't show up in league history or the player card. Oops. Same goes for the RL) General MVP Award - RF David Seaweed, Jamaica Plain Cannon SP Award - SP Justin Sphinx, Warwick Sentry Bot RP Award - CL Pem Pollack, Warwick RL - Alpha Award - LF Paladin Danse, Egret Desdemona SP Award - SP Matt Udder, Oberland Deacon RP Award - CL Aaron Still, Oberland CBO - MVP - LF Paladin Danse, Egret SP - SP Justin Sphinx, Warwick RP - CL Tiny Greene, Sunshine Tidings C - Garrett Machine, Atom 1B - Curtis Slingshot, Oberland 2B - Ray McMillen, Atom 3B - Ben Pettinato, Quincy SS - Austin Engill, Abernathy LF - Paladin Danse, Egret CF - BJ Perez, Oberland RF - David Seaweed, Jamaica Plain CBO Playoffs - MVP - CF Millioncap Go, The Slog

2296 CBO Rookie Draft
StLee here. I had to edit the draft order, but OOTP allowed it, so I am OK. I don't understand the logic of the order that was there when I set it for teams to be in order of their records. Anyway, I changed the order to the proper order with coin flips when necessary for the same records. All four 6th place teams picked in the first four picks, followed by all four 5th place teams, and so on.
Also, I also edited out the names of players' high schools since I do no have high schools in my dynasty. That is time-consuming, but would take me out of the world created here. Perhaps I should add feeder leagues once I upgrade my computer. There are backstories, which I may touch upon during the offseason or future seasons, but the feeder league may be necessary for immersion purposes. Here are some featured players, including the draft picks of the teams readers of this dynasty are actively following: NB and Atom. The Top 5 1-1 Shaw HS - SP Beachboy Nut Skills: Has a three-pitch approach but willing to work on a fourth pitch. Has good stuff but needs to work on command and cut down on walks. Expected to be a future ace. Personality: High adaptability and work ethic. May seek the caps. A sparkplug. 1-2 Jamaica Plain - RF Goody Cloyse Skills: Power hitter with a good eye. He will hit a lot deep but does not tend to swing at bad pitches. Speedier than the average right fielder, which gives him good range. Personality: Likes to win, but won’t let a loss get him down. Won’t let a win get him up, either. Should not be a problem in the locker room or out of it. 1-3 Fort Hagen - CF Ben Pawlak Skills: Could be a power-hitting centerfielder, longball or out. Has a good eye but can occasionally be impatient with off-speed pitches. Waits for the right pitch, probably looking fastball. Defense could win him future defensive awards. Day 1 starter in center field, even if bat is not yet ready. Personality: High work ethic. Will do what it takes to be the best. Does not seem concerned about caps; just wants to play. 1-4 County Crossing – C Biter Trout Skills: Will hit for average and could develop a middle of the lineup bat. Needs to work on defense but could be a good defensive catcher. Personality: High work ethic and intelligence. Should develop into a team leader, though he is used to a singular style and may not adapt well to different coaching and management styles. Not motivated by caps. 1-5 Concord – 3B Lucky Oldsun Skills: Does not have any one area where the thrives but does a lot of things well. Expected to be a high average guy in time but may never develop as a power hitter. Will be decent as defensive third baseman. Personality: Highly intelligent. A cerebral player. Will need to keep composure when team is losing games. Nordhagen Beach Party Boys 1-6 CF Pop Murphy Skills: Speedster. Will steal bases and take extra bases on singles and doubles. Can cover a lot of ground in center field. Bat needs work. May not hit well until he gets a lot of coaching. Will need to rely on being patient and working walks. Personality: Lots of good qualities – smart, hard worker, loyal, understanding. Tends to follow rather than lead. Needs hands-on coaching. 2-6 CF Maxx Murtagh Skills: Decent speed can help him in his range but nowhere near Murphy’s speed. Probably projects as a left fielder in the Nordhagen Beach franchise. Tends to foul off a lot of pitches. Sometimes that works in his favor and he gets walked but also will strikeout on deep counts. Bat relies on timing. 3-6 SP Cush Baker Skills: Two good pitches but is adding a changeup to his repertoire. Fastball has lots of movement. Cerebral pitcher which will lead to a future coaching career for him if he wants it but tools may not be enough to produce what he understands. Good control of his pitches, which will help in avoiding walks. However, may give up lots of hits. Probably will need to move to bullpen to be successful. 4-6 SP Eddie Okay Skills: Comes from a long lines of Okays who are all average at best in whatever they do. Good fastball offset by poor changeup. Curveball is OK. Does not have good stuff or pitch for power so his control must be on or he will be shellacked. Needs a lot of work to be anything more than a minor league bullpen pitcher. 5-6 SP Andy Watsname Skills: Will need to perform well to be accepted with his overbearing personality. Has four pitches already that will be good if he continues working on all of them. Needs to practice placement more, tending to put too many right down the middle. Does not work the corners. Could have potential as a starter in the CBO but it may take some time and acceptance of coaching. Atom Cats 1-17 SS Steve Mech Skills: Needs to bulk up more but could have the frame to hit in the middle of the lineup. May not hit for a high average. Looks to be a Day 1 starter at shortstop based on good skills. Will not be error-prone and will make all the routine plays. Good speed will help him on the bases. Personality: Smart and works hard. Deals well with failures, so he can bounce back after losses and poor personal performances. 2-17 CF Nar Salem Skills: Other than the ability to hit the ball deep, flies out and strikes out too much. May be looking at batting 7th or 8th in the lineup at best. Probably a pinch hitter and defensive substitute at best. Ceiling does not look high for him. Can be a decent centerfielder when forced to start. Good range to get to balls. Probably not as talented as where he was drafted. 3-17 C Joshiel Hawthorne Skills: Outspoken personality makes him confident behind the plate. Needs to work on arm power for throwing out runners, but he can be a Day 1 starter or viable backup at catcher defensively. Good power and eye at the plate but depends too much on power hits to be a true middle-of-the-lineup hitter. 4-17 SP Will Wylde Skills: Good movement on all pitches, including his two-seamer and curveball. Loses control a lot, including leaving too many over the plate. That leads to giving up more home runs than a good pitcher should. Needs to work on that control before he is CBO ready. 5-17 C Phil Presidentson Skills: Surprising pick after Hawthorne was picked in the 3rd round. Similar defensive catcher who likes the roles as the pitch caller. Needs to work more on his arm strength and handling the ball after the pitch. Can develop a good bat that could see him batting up to 6th in the lineup. May not have a lot of power or speed but can move station to station. Works the strike zone well, so he can draw walks. October 2296 - News and Notes - October 5
Today in the CBO News and Notes - Reports from around the Commonwealth by Nat Wright-Kowalski 5 October 2296 - Warwick-Goodneighbor Trade: Homestead for Hagen You can't always get what you want, but sometimes you find a deal anyway. The Baseball News Network is reporting that Warwick and Goodneighbor have made a swap with 19-year-old CF Warwickdon Homestead and 18-year-old minor league RHP Edward Waddle being shipped to the Hancocks and in return the Mirelurks would get 19-year-old LF Joe "Whiskey" Hagen, 17-year-old minor league RHP Steve Halperin and 19-year-old minor league LHP Nate Bauer. Warwick general manager Jason Liberti said the two sides were close to a blockbuster trade before agreeing upon a smaller scale transaction. "This is just a bit of housekeeping compared to what we wanted to do," he said. "I won't name names, but the potential deal we were close to making would have certainly grabbed some headlines." A source inside the Warwick organization said the two sides might not be done dealing, and another transaction could be in the works. Homestead had originally changed his name from Don Duck to Warwick Homestead after he was drafted by the Mirelurks in the 2296 inaugural draft. The franchise had asked him to change his name back, but he only changed it to Warwickdon. There is no word yet if he is going to change his name now that he is a member of the Goodneighbor Hancocks. Perhaps Third Rail would suit him? We do not think he would dare trying John Hancock. That might get him knifed.

It looks as if the Boys picked up some potential - but only if developed right. Let's hope that the team of coaches they signed up will be up to the task. If they are, the draft could work out well for us; if not.....
I love that Steve Okay is apparently ok by name, ok by nature! Nice touch, StLee! |

There is also the famed Walden Pond in the Fallout 4 game. Some kind of way, Walt Whitman's descendants need to find their way into my dynasty.

October 2296 - News and Notes - October 12
Today in the CBO News and Notes - Reports from around the Commonwealth by Nat Wright-Kowalski 12 October 2296 - Scrappers Reliever to Take Pilgrimage Egret Scrappers reliever Joe Charlie has joined a religious sect called the Hubologists. As part of his passage into the sect, he is going to go on a pilgrimage that could take up to six months. If he would be gone for the full six months, that length of time would cut into the 2297 report date for the Scrappers. The Hubologists are not plentiful here in the Boston area, but there is a branch of the pre-War religion near Nuka World. According to intranet information about the Hubologists, “Hubology originated as a cult founded before the Great War by science-fiction author Dick Hubbell (dubbed "The Hub" by Hubologists). It holds that existence is based on the Great Wheel, with the Hub at the center, Hubologists as the spokes and non-believers as the rim. Eventually, all Hubologists will be called to the heavens to live with the "Star Father" on the planet Quetzel; they plan to get there through the use of the thusly named ESS Quetzel. “Hubology belief holds that by purifying the 'neurodynes' in one's body, a person can ascend to greater levels of spiritual power and eventually transcend the material world In order to get help purifying these neurodynes, Hubologists will use scientific spirituality methods in exchange for a fee. Their standard approach is to ask a new recruit to donate all his or her worldly possessions to the Church as a sign of good faith and apparently stash the possessions somewhere in the desert Donating lots of money to the Church of Hubology can also help one raise their AHS levels.” Unidentified teammates have noted that Charlie’s shack had gone from a lived-in look to an empty shell with just a single sleeping bag on the floor. Speculation is that he sold off everything he owns and donated his 2296 salary to the Hubologists. Egret GM Chad “Wrinkles” Erickson released a statement: “While we are not happy that Mr. Charlie may not be available for spring training, we do not want to get in the way of a man pursuing his place in the universe. We all know that life is just a bad roll of the dice away from ending, so I will let Mr. Charlie do what he has to do. If he wants to return, we have a roster spot open for him. Of course, we must also fine him for each report date he misses.” 14 October 2296 – Abernathy Reserve Takes Internship Abernathy Adamantium outfielder Adam McDermott never saw the field in the 2296 season, which may be the writing on the wall for him in his CBO career. Though he hopes to breakthrough with the club by getting a chance for playing time with the new minor league affiliate, the Bunker Hill Gun Fu, McDermott was presented an opportunity to hone his post-baseball skills. The Slocum’s Joe Headquarters in Malden, where McDermott is from, has offered his a four-month internship with the maintenance department to learn how to service and repair food and drink equipment. In McDermott’s case, his father works for the Slocum’s Joe Headquarters, and McDermott felt it was a good opportunity to join the company. Tony Savoldi, who used to run the Bunker Hill bed and breakfast with his father, Joe Savoldi, is now the owner of Slocum’s Joe. While in town, he met some of the Bunker Hill prospects and learned that McDermott was from Malden and that McDermott’s father, Monque McDermott, works as an equipment instalker for Slocum’s Joe. That’s when Savoldi offered the internship to the young McDermott. The internship ends in mid-February, so McDermott should be available for the season. Savoldi is now the main sponsor of the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys, which may upset the front office of Abernathy that one of their players is associating with someone directly related to another team, despite his ties to Bunker Hill where his elderly father still lives. Savoldi’s grandfather, Brent Savoldi, was also a notable member of the Minutemen before disappearing near the Old Gullet Sinkhole in Malden. Later, Nate Howard found Brent Savoldi’s hat in the sinkhole, proving to Tony and Joe that Brent died a hero. Nate and the Savoldis have been friends ever since.

Random Terminal
This room in the Mysterious Stranger's bunker loaded with all kinds of stuff is interesting. There was a side storage room in the bunker that had lockers inside. Each locker was loaded with boxes. There were codes on each of the lockers, and now they seem pretty obvious. I'm not good at being a narrator and I have no story to tell. For now, I choose to stay anonymous. This story minus a narrator means just throwing things out randomly, so I hope you understand. Make up your own story if you want. I will just show whatever I find or found or gets shown to me. You don't know me, and I like it that way. I know some things, but I can't tell it all, you know what I mean?
I don't know why, but the lockers were arranged in descending order. They were labeled like this: 4 NEC, 3B SWCNV, 3A CC, 2 NWCNCR, 1 SWCNCR I pulled this one out of 3A CC and wanted to share it. It mentions baseball, the Mechanist, and the Commons. At first I thought the Commons might mean the Commonwealth, but this was dated 2282 and I had no idea where or whom Adams would be. So, I had some Brotherhood guys in Easy Town take a look at this one. They said the Prydwen was built at Adams Air Force Base out in the Capital Wasteland in 2282. Not only that, but before the War, the Capital Wasteland was part of one of the 13 commonwealths. The Columbia Commonwealth. So 3 = the Columbia Commonwealth. That means 4 = NEC, the Northeast Commonwealth. Here around Boston, we just call it the Commonwealth. I don't think any other place did the same. So, now this random terminal makes more sense. A group of people in a place called the Commons played baseball and basketball with teams called the Mechanists and the Antagonizers. I'll have to ask Isabel Cruz if she used to be in the Capital Wasteland.

October 2296 - News and Notes - October 22-23
Today in the CBO News and Notes - Reports from around the Commonwealth by Nat Wright-Kowalski 22 October 2296 – Rickashaw to Embark on Brotherhood Mission County Crossing starting pitcher Jeff Rickashaw retiired from the Brotherhood of Steel two years ago upon reaching his 30th birthday. However, at the time of his retirement, he signed up for an elite group that would only be activated if there were missions outside of the United States. Though Rickashaw probably assumed there would be no such missions, a discovery in his hometown has led to a mission call up. In other words, Rickashaw must go. Of course, we do not have details about the Brotherhood of Steel’s mission. We do know what there was a discovery south of Boston in Rickashaw’s hometown, Plymouth. There, a rock was discovered with some details about a secret location. Some people are aware of Plymouth Rock, in which Rickashaw has spoken before, but there is not much known about the information related to Plymouth Rock. Rickashaw has been ordered to report immediately to Boston Airport. The length of his mission has not been disclosed, but it is typical for elite missions to be assigned on a one-year basis. If that is the case, Rickashaw will miss the entirety of the 2297 season. 23 October 2296 – Group of Players Arrive from Nuka World Players from the Amusement Park Youth League around Nuka World arrived into the Commonwealth today to prepare for their CBO tryout. A group of 60 sixteen-year-olds who played in their final season of the APYL based on established rules set by the CBO eligibility rules wanted the chance to play in the CBO for the 2296 season. Any player who is not signed as a free agent could enter the 2297 rookie draft. Most of the players would be 17 at the time. Tryouts for the players will be held at the Great Green Jewel on Tuesday, October 27. After the tryouts, players would then be eligible to be signed through what Commissioner Nate Howard calls a waiver priority system. Teams will put in a list of up to 10 players they would like to sign from most (10 pts) to least (1 point). If a player appears on more than one list, he is eligible to sign with the team that has assigned him the most points. If there is a tie, for example more than one team assigning a player 10 points, then the team with the worst 2296 record wins the waiver. Therefore, Shaw HS is guaranteed to sign whichever player it assigns 10 points. Some of the players thought that they could make an impact in the CBO based on statistics sheets available include: P Bloody Arthur, 3B Notorious Fugate, 2B Tom Lavallee, P Tup Mallory, RF Chris McCreight, SS Surprise Mulligan, P Whokill Poole, 3B Gary Suppertime, P Covington Ti, and LF Brett Trench.

October 2296 - News and Notes - October 26
Today in the CBO News and Notes - Reports from around the Commonwealth by Nat Wright-Kowalski 26 October 2296 - East Boston Prep-Finch Farm Trade: Grime for Evans 22-year-old LF Cody Grime will now be playing for the Finch Farm Four Leafs and 28-year-old starting LHP Montes Evans will be suiting up for the East Boston Prep Assaultrons. The trade was announced today at a press conference by club officials. Grime was a backup outfielder for the Assaultrons. In 33 games, he only had 33 plate appearances. On the season, he was 7 for 26 for a .269 average with no home runs and six RBI. Grime was drafted in the 22nd round of the inaugural draft. Evans is a surprising move for Finch Farm since he came on in the last four weeks of the regular season to look like a solid third starter to take the job from Josh Dude. In four games started, he had a record of 3-1 with a 2.38 ERA. He allowed nine earned runs on 28 hits in 34.0 innings pitched. In addition to the regular season, he pitched in four games in the playoffs, including three starts. He was 2-1 in those four games. Evans was drafted in the 26th round of the inaugural draft.

October 2296 - News and Notes - October 27
Today in the CBO News and Notes - Reports from around the Commonwealth by Nat Wright-Kowalski 27 October 2296 - Bradberton/Nuka World Area Players Tryouts and Signings Sixty young men from the Nuka World area arrived in the Commonwealth last week where they met with CBO teams in Diamond City to learn about their names, histories, and psychological states. Today they participated in a tryout where they showed off their skills with the bat and glove, bunting and popping, spitballs and sliders. To sign players, teams could list up to 10 players with a sliding scale of assigning 10 points to their favorite player down to 1 point for their 10th favorite player. Teams had an option to put zero players on their list, which happened for several teams. Those lists were considered to be private and were destroyed after the signing period. Here is a list of all players signed by league and team alphabetical order as a result of that tryout: BL - East Boston Prep: C Ted Shovels and OF Chris McCreight Finch Farm: CF Mop Lopez Nordhagen Beach: P Evan Before Salem: C Ponscum Williams and 2B Tylor Pooch The Slog: SS Surprise Mulligan, C Justin Woodstove, and 2B Tom Lavallee IL - Abernathy: 2B Shop Pour Concord: C Jacob Thompson and LF Justin Loki Fort Hagen: P Bloody Arthur Starlight: 2B Brett Commmies Sunshine Tidings: 1B Dustin Gatling and LF Brett Trench ML - Atom: RF Dick Islands Jamaica Plain: 3B Notorious Fugate and CF Josh Laborde Quincy: 2B Israel Sewers University Point: P Tup Mallory Warwick: 3B Gary Suppertime RL - Diamond City: P Covington Ti CF Andy Dogleash Shaw HS: P Whokill People, RF Greg De Groot, and LF Redeye Sidson Vault 81: LF Jay Hall

October 2296 - News and Notes - October 31
Today in the CBO News and Notes - Reports from around the Commonwealth by Nat Wright-Kowalski 31 October 2296 - Halloween! The gourds are carved, the walls are decorated, and kids are ready to collect their Sugar Bombs and pickled bloatfly eggs. If there is one thing the pre-War Commonwealth did right it was dropping the bombs right before Halloween so that we have all the decorations we need for the most sacred of candied holidays. This year, Halloween has brought on safer settlements so that kids can go out at night in their costumes and feel that there is at least a 63.74% chance they will go back home unharmed that night. Happy Halloween to all of you in the Wastes! And now for some CBO news. 31 October 2296 – Vault 81 Dweller to Tour Factions, Capital Wasteland Vault 81 Dwellers catcher Ronald Raygun already has a plan for his post-baseball life. “Politics,” he said. “I feel like I’m just an entertainer right now, but later I think I could be President.” Raygun will start his career in politics with a quick trip to the headquarters of all four factions in the Commonwealth before hopping on a vertibird for a diplomatic tour to the Capital Wasteland to explore the Brotherhood of Steel facilities at Adams Air Force Base. Raygun said he was always curious about politics but just a few years ago could not envision a government-operated Boston. “I was born in the city and just remember nothing but survival,” he said. “But I had a few books and remember reading all about past presidents. I thought, 'Why not me?'” The Brotherhood of Steel crew Raygun plans to tour with will depart for the Capital Wasteland on November 26 with a planned return on or before January 1, 2297. 31 October 2296 – Finch Farm Reliever Goes Sin City Finch Farm Four Leafs reserve reliever Frank Miller is in trouble thanks to a wild night in Easy Town. Being on a binge of what he called “booze, broads, and bullets,” Miller’s chem-enhanced party night turned nearly tragic for one bar patron. Miller finished the night at the Hell and Back bar. He stated he did not know the names of the people he was with but remembered “that yellow bastard” and “a dame to kill for.” While using chems and drinking heavily, someone happened to produce something called a slingshot. While people at the Hell and Back started shooting caps at beer bottles, Miller fished a bullet out of his pocket on his turn. Witnesses mentioned that Miller looked to try to hit the beer bottles like the rest, but his shot went wide and hit another patron in the bar right in the forehead. The bullet did not penetrate through the skull of the patron identified only as “Marv.” Hell and Back bartender Dwight McCarthy said, “That baseball guy almost made the big fat kill on ole Marv. Marv probably thought he was looking at the hard goodbye.” Miller expressed sorrow and said he would try to stop looking at the world in black and white. He is expected to be locked up at Boston Airport for a time until Marv recovers or does not. If Marv does indeed experience “the hard goodbye,” Miller could be looking at time at Parsons State Insane Asylum, addled accident or not.

November 2296 - News and Notes - November 2
Today in the CBO News and Notes - Reports from around the Commonwealth by Nat Wright-Kowalski 2 November 2296 – Railroad, Brotherhood Collaboration 'Tinkering' with Success When Nate Howard led the Boston-area Commonwealth to one of peace and cooperation, there was a four-way treaty signed to divvy up parts of the Commonwealth. As we can see in the Commonwealth Baseball Organization, there are four quadrants of government rule that gets precedent: Northwest – Institute, Northeast – Brotherhood of Steel, Southwest – Railroad, and Southeast – Minutemen. However, those regions have been in default rule rather than hard substance as there are areas of factions within quadrants owned by another. One example of that would be the Northwest region. Though it is technically operated by the Institute, the Institute Committee mostly stays in their facilities below the C.I.T. Ruins. In fact, the Institute has not begun to repair the C.I.T. despite there being small scatterings of settlers living in and around the pre-War hub for great American minds. Therefore, places like Concord are under Minutemen control, which makes sense since the Institutes Gen-1 and Gen-2 synths are not allowed to hold security positions. Two other examples and both of which apply are the Railroad-claimed Corvega Assembly Plant, run by Tinker Tom, and the Brotherhood of Steel-claimed ArcJet Systems, with ultimate control falling under Brotherhood leader Elder Arthur Maxson. Elder Arthur Maxson The announcement today, well almost announcement, is on the positive side of progress in Commonwealth-area transportation. Though they are not quite ready, both Corvega and ArcJet have claimed technology advances that will make fast transportation throughout the Commonwealth not just a possibility, but a return to pre-War reality. Corvega Assembly plant was a major carmaker plant in the Lexington area where pre-War citizens were able to have a car made and then purchase one from a display store. We think it must have worked like a Nuka Cola machine where you put your caps in the machine and then a car came tumbling out. People would then drive away and live the happy, smiling lives we see in all of the pre-War Corvega posters and billboards. Tinker Tom, through a rambling monologue we will only partially quote below because, really, we never understand most of what Tinker Tom is talking about. Giving him a soapbox is necessary only when it is necessary. In addition to the announcement about the advances at the Corvega Plant, the Brotherhood of Steel has made some progress in technology at the ArcJet Systems facility, two points of progress, in fact. We only have a prepared statement by Elder Maxson, so let us get to that first: “In cooperation with Corvega and the Railroad organization, I am pleased to announce that our all-terrain tires have passed initial tests and look to be road ready. We have equipped caravan carts with the tires and they have shown a rate of 378% increase in travel time across the devastated roads. In time, we hope to also repair those roads with synthetic cement, but that is not possible in the short term. To summarize, we believe the ATTs are ready for mass production and can be used on Corvega cars when those are ready. “Additionally, we have also made progress on the mini-nuclear jet engines, showing a steadiness rate of 89%, which is much higher than the 31% of just two years ago. We are told that we need to get that rate up above 99% before we can use them in general production and attach them to cars for faster travel. However, we are encouraged by the results and will field test them more on personal power armor units.” Both of the ArcJet Systems technological advances will give a boost to Corvega productions, something that looks like it is almost ready for mass production. Tinker Tom’s major announcement is that the Corvega facility has produced its first full car, though it is not yet functional since there is no engine currently installed. The body, however, is ready and Corvega can mass produce cars when the technology to make the cars move is fully in place. Corvega Model from Assembly Plant Here is a heavily edited excerpt from Tinker Tom’s press conference. We left in the craziest part for your amusement: “We have a fully debugged car model . . . equipped with anti-mind control devices. . . . They cannot penetrate our minds and get us to drive into children. . . . I heard of them called the lessers but I don’t know what that means. I just know they are dangerous. . . . controlling our minds and . . ., man. . . . With the help of the Brotherhood. . . . no mind-control there, either. . . . Yes, this matters to the CBO. . . . Hell, I don’t know, however they want. . . . Have to be careful people are not led against their will to Dunwich Borers . . . human sacrifice, man. You want that? That’s what they want! . . . Everybody will want one of our cars . . . making the special Tinker Tom model later but this one here is called a Chryslus Corvega. It was already programmed in the factory system but that is the only car programmed because the Corvega is the type of car not the company. Here is an image of the company logo. . . . Protect your babies and keep them locked in this car. . . . And beware of the lessers at Dunwich. They’re the real devil, man.” Chryslus logo We asked Tinker Tom who “they” and the “lessers” were. He only replied, “Scary.” Thank you for your newest conspiracy theory, Tom. Tinker Tom

The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. Grogg appeared in five games in 2296 for the Four Leafs with six plate appearances. He was 2 for 6 with two home runs, two runs scored, two runs batted in, and two strikeouts. He will wear number 2 for Fort Hagen. He was drafted in the 17th round of the Inaugural Draft in 2296. November 2296 - News and Notes - November 11
Today in the CBO News and Notes - Reports from around the Commonwealth by Nat Wright-Kowalski 11 November 2296 – Assaultrons Changing Name East Boston Prep Assaultrons general manager Ryan Herner has only been with the club for just over a month, but he has already influenced owners Deb and Kay Merchant to name the team what it should have been called from the beginning: the Easy Town Assaultrons. The Assaultrons announced today that they would be the second team changing their name for the 2297 season. The deadline to make any team changes is November 30 so that it applies to the 2297 calendar, beginning January 1. East Boston Prep is the physical location of the Assaultrons’ baseball field, Easy Town Field. The area is known as East Boston, Easy City after the Easy City Downs racetrack, and Easy Town from the local settlers’ nickname. Fans of the Assaultrons were highly in favor of the change, and many thought the name should have been Easy Town in the first place. Now that there has been a season for fans to hear the name Easy Town in other places in the Commonwealth, the Merchants, Herner, and other front office members were confident in pursuing the name in which they feel identifies the area and team more. The Jamaica Plain Treasures were the first to announce a change in their team name. Also effective January 1, 2297, they have changed their name to the Jamaica Plain Red Rockets.

An aside
StLee's note: I have been spending way too much time in between my real job working on the Hubris Comics Universe television and movie schedule. I mean, the TV shows and movies do not even really fit into the CBO world, well, not directly, but I am having fun thinking of what the HCU would be like for TV shows and movies to have individual characters and small teams, and then the big Unstoppables force battling the universe's greatest evils, like the Zetan Leader.
OK, you convinced me. Related story coming. Something to note: I love British shows' six-episode story arcs rather than the American 13-episode arc. I feel those shows are much tighter, I write, as I am binge-watching all five seasons of Peaky Blinders while multitasking by doing work, playing OOTP, and planning out offseason CBO (and Fallout 4 and now HCU) stories.
