Suggest away as you like and can, then, and I'll think about your suggestions, jokerhusky. I don't want any suggestions for game shows of a nature largely, if not entirely, reminiscent of Match Game, though, for example, because I really want all the shows represented in this league here to be more of a family-friendly nature, if possible, to be sure, for various reasons.

For example, some of the game shows I liked at least a bit when I was younger were Double Dare and Fun House, but they weren't the only game shows I liked back then, of course. Good clean fun shows to watch, for sure, and no potentially dirty commentary and all, either.

So if you have any good suggestions that aren't too out there or too gross, et cetera, please feel to make suggestions as you like and can, within reason, of course. I'd be glad to see them, then, for sure. CD out.

Joliet uniforms in this post, caps the next, and resized logo in a third post. Hope they prove useful to you, and meet sufficiently with your satisfaction, of course, EC. Tried to keep them simple, as well. Font is PT Blockhead, by the way. Couldn't quite match the font you used, so used another font instead that I thought might not look too bad at all here. You did fine on the Joliet Green Giants... you came pretty close to what I asked for except the jersey material... I did not request cotton... I requested no material and shading 1...also the Green Giant is on the heavy side... you must have resized and stretched the image... he looks bloated.

Don't do any more work on Joliet... I am satisfied with what I have... I just wanted to give you the chance to try out your skills on them.

I will tell jg2977 that he should check your version of the Joliet Green Giants out and use them in his league if he likes... he is the guy that I am giving all of the teams he wants for his league... jg2977 is using eight teams from the North Island and South Island Leagues... I am giving him my teams because jg2977 actually uses them in his leagues... he doesn't just collect jerseys and caps like you do.

Yes, I did, so it could be used in the appropriate slots for team logos. I think they look more bulky than fat, however, because of how I resized the logo in question. Also, the giant looks more jolly to me than it does at the original proportions, in truth. So I ultimately decided to keep the resized versions of the logo as posted. Hope you can see how I came to that conclusion easily enough, somehow, EC. CD out.

Then I might have not noticed something or some things in your post, Eugene, somehow. I did use shading 1, at least, however, as requested. And the two main colors you chose. Then again, you may not have said anything about specific textures to use or not use, I think.

I'll see what I can do for the Hackers later, as time permits and all. Actually, when I know what numbers to use, and what font to use, whether it's the same one from the original item or not, it often doesn't take a great deal of time to do certain items, if they're not too hard for me to do, for your information.

Will write more later, as I can and all, I expect, as the Lord leads. One or two other things before I close this post, if I may? What font is present for their items? And what color codes did you use, please, if you can and want to tell me about them. CD out.

Just need to be able to find enough free time to actually play more than I have been able to for a while, you see. I do find myself quite busy at times, after all. If you ultimately decide to use the items I made for Joliet, feel quite free. If not, then don't. I won't be upset either way, to be completely honest with you here. I do think, however, that they do look fairly good, although there is certainly at least some possible room for improvement later on, if certain layers could be made and used and all, somehow.

Thank you for your kind comment, EC. I agree if one is content with little, they may be content with more, as the Lord decides to bless people with in their respective lives. The Word even mentions such things, I believe, but I can't remember exactly where at the present time, unfortunately. It also mentions if one is faithful with little, they may also be faithful with much, if memory serves. And really, it's not my own happiness that matters most in this world, it is God's happiness, if you really think about it, Eugene. Yes, He does want us to be happy, no doubt, but that shouldn't be our chief goal in life, you know. It should be our chief goal to do what He has commanded to the best of our respective limited human abilities, wherever and whenever and however we can, et cetera, while also trying to finish our respective races strong in this life.

We will all not spend eternity on this planet, even, and this world is not our eternal home. Our mortal lives are like grass, eventually to fade away, just as windy breezes often do in our world. But our souls are eternal, and wherever we each go when we leave this world, they will continue to exist forever somewhere, wherever that is.

People should live their lives as if they're ready to depart this life at any time, and treasure each day that the Lord grants them in their lives as much as they can, come what may. But many do not, unfortunately. I, however, don't ever plan to be one who isn't ready to leave when the Lord wishes me to depart this world, either through death and/or translation, if I can possibly ever avoid such a thing from being true. When I finish my race, I hope to have laid up for me a crown of righteousness that nobody can take away from me, and I hope to see my dearly departed brother again after I cross the River Jordan and enter into my Lord's rest.

EC, not sure if you'd like any new Joliet Green Giant uniforms...but I figured since you have done so much for the community, I would give it a whirl for your fictional league. I will not be offended if you do not like them or use them. My skills are limited to not being able to design fonts...so there is clearly no "S" but I almost feel that without it, it is like the company runs the team. Just tossing them out there for your collection.

P.S. The cap is not mine, it was on a previous thread by "The Mad Monk". I simply color matched it for consistency.

Your work is much better than my original work which I am now using... they look more professional than my borderline average talent can do.

If you kept your templates and can make several revisions, I would appreciate it... if you didn't, please don't rework them.

Just a note of thanks: I really like the way you did not put the team name and team nickname on top of the jersey buttons... I really am disappointed when a designer fails to notice this... picky me will not use jerseys done this way... thanks for using "no material" for the jerseys... also not lining up the Green Giants evenly greatly improved it... that was a nice touch and made it much better... placing the Giants a little further right of Green on the jersey really looks better.

The name of the team is Green Giants (plural)... mad monk's work on the cap is excellent, but the J on the cap should match what you used on the jersey... sorry to be so picky... also could you make the shoulder sleeves on the Green Jersey white... the Green Giant image would show up better and would not be pixilated with white dots.

I'm aware of that, but I wanted to make sure no more than two teams represented a certain location, whether Culver City or Hollywood, for example, for this proposed league. Or at least I'm aware of it now, if I wasn't before when I made the set for them, anyway.

So I put the Price-Guessers in Burbank, for this particular league's purposes. If I have to have a show's representative team actually put elsewhere, for the above reason, then I'll put them somewhere else, wherever that might be, as I see fit. Ultimately, there may be an Eastern Conference for this league to eventually go along with a Western one, Right now, though, all prospective teams for this league will be based in places somewhere in the Western United States, for sure, folks.

This will be most likely the same basic protocol I will follow if and when work is started on a movie studio-themed league by me or added to by me, as the need and desire arises, unless I decide to do otherwise. I'm not sure yet just how much work I might eventually be able to do in relation to a movie studio-themed league in the future. While they may not have an actual city name in their official team names, certain movie studios will most likely be represented in such a potential league that I might have in mind already or at some later time.

Yes, that is correct... I prefer "no texture" on my jerseys and caps.
And you are historically correct... 40s and 50s were heavy cotton jerseys... I just want "no texture" on mine.
And you are right, the Giant is slightly right of the Green on the first line.

EC...I can for sure make the revisions. My problem is that my skills as a graphic designer are flawed for one main reason. I don't know how to make my own fonts and stuff. I was able to extract the real Green Giant font but have no idea how to add an S. I will see if perhaps someone can help me add a letter. I have all the templates saved and if done, it would be very painless. I will keep you posted. I am very glad that you like my work, thank you so much for the compliments!!!

There are plenty of free font sites out there, folks. I've gotten at least some, if not many, of the fonts I've used for my designs from various ones, especially a site called fontspace dot com, for instance. I've probably mentioned such sites before in previous posts of mine on the forums. Search fonts in connection to my posts around these forums, and hopefully you will then see my own comments on them any number of times, somehow. Hope this information helps. CD out.
