Your logo does indeed show up on my game screen. I don't think I quite explained myself very clearly. I was able clip your logo from the game, and, with a little manipulation, I got it to an acceptable look for use with crowns, etc. However, often when I clip logos from the PT game screen, they will come out too poorly to use. I just posted your logo so you could see it and, if it looks good enough for you, that's what we'll go with. I wanted to give those folks whose logos I got from the game screen a chance to see them, in case they want to post their own.

Sugar Hill is using the games fictional logo for the Silver Hawks.

The barely hung on and will remain in Stone next week after finishing the season 67-95. They were tucked comfortably between promotion and relegation heading into August but as I started shedding lives to make the team compliant they nose dived.

and the usual general reminder to all: go to your 'profiles and settings' tab (on the 'perfect team home screen' page), and verify your league placement setting is showing "use friend's list"

Since I'm not doing the dynasty thread this time, I'll post my end of regular season rundown here.

Waffletown had a solid inaugural season at the Rookie level, finishing with a 2nd best NC record of 103-59. Thanks to their shoebox redesign of The Spile to crank up the offense, they lead the league in runs scored (1059), batting average (.312), on base pct (.378), OPS (.888), batting WAR (52), and wOBA (.380); and ranked 2nd in home runs (207). The shocking part of the team rankings is the fact their starting pitching still managed to rank 2nd in starters ERA (3.79).

Second baseman Adam Kennedy had an impressive year, claiming the batting crown with his .351 average (215 hits, 117 runs scored, 53 doubles, 12 triples, 13 home runs, 94 RBIs, 55 stolen bases, 8.4 WAR).

Center fielder Hack Wilson did his part to drive Kennedy in, picking up a league leading 151 RBIs to go with his league leading 46 home runs and league leading 9.2 WAR.

Despite batting right behind Wilson, right fielder Oscar Gamble was equally productive, batting .302 with 40 home runs and 134 RBIs (four Syrups knocked in 100+ runs, with Tino Martinez (101) and Rusty Greer (110) joining Wilson and Gamble.

On the mound, AL Brazle was the staff ace, going 22-7 with a 3.26 ERA and 230 strikeouts; while on the back end, closer Cecilio Guante picked up 30 saves in 51 games, 52.1 innings pitched, 61 strikeouts and a 2.41 ERA.

Waffletown will host the Boulder City Wreckers in the LDS. The two teams met 6 times during the regular season with Waffletown taking the series 4 games to 2; but as any baseball fan knows, the regular season means exactly squat in the playoffs.

Another thing about the OL tag is that the easiest way for me to set friends is to do two team searches ---- one for "- OL" and one for "-OL" and to click add friend for every team from those lists that are likely to be in the same level as me the next week. So if you don't have one of those in your team name, I will likely miss you.

If you are wanting to edit your Friends list, it is best to wait until after the playoffs as some teams will show being promoted to the next level, before the playoffs start however, if they loose right out of the gate, they may drop down in the list and in the end, may not be promoted after all.

thanks! that is the plan. I didn't realize promotion isn't only the final four so looks like I'll be in Stone next week.

best record in league, but you know how the playoffs can go (fingers crossed)

yeah, it's pretty simple... just want to make sure the 'use friend's list' is showing for your league placement setting (if you select it, submit team, switch tabs and go back, sometimes it still shows as 'random'; in which case, just log out/back into PT and check it again)

Actually, I don't think it's necessary to wait until after the playoffs to check your Friends list for awhile yet. Every level has at least 14 teams going up, with most set at 16. It would seem that even an early exit from the playoffs will not move a team out of the top 14 or 16.

Are there going to be final standings for stone 148, or were there not at least two teams with 10 OL games? I just looked back in in the thread and it does seem that we should have a crown winner for stone 148.

The check other leagues function is now working again (although the font is proportionally space and so misaligned. Here's where people are going:

I 198 - Las Vegas headed to bronze, Otsego and Gettysburg staying in iron.
St. 148 - Hartford, Baltimore, Rte. 66, and Silly Mad all up to iron.
St. 173 - Cleveland up to iron.
St. 151 - Paxville up to iron.
St. 126 - Left Coast staying in stone.
R 201 - Paper St up to stone.
R 184 - Inland Empire up to stone.
R 128 - Bluffton staying in rookie.
R 123 - Jackson up to stone.

The other teams, such as those in R 65, were detailed elsewhere. There should be a solid number of teams in iron, stone and rookie if we are diligent and submit (at least twice) our Friends List. Hope to see three crowns next week.

Guys thanks for the Logo's-much appreciated.

It seems Sugar Hill lost every change I made this morning except use friends list. I had to edit my lineups and pitching staff again as well as put back the -OL and + sign

Annandale just won their wild card game and will face my Warriors. The NC is OL teams remaining.
