Just wondering for major juniors … is there a list I tried to google to find out but I couldn’t find any information… I’m looking for a list for US as to what scouts to hire for which sections for US for major juniors..

Is it possible to get a filter in say the NHL Player Index so I can see just D-men or LWs or whatever rather than having to scroll through every player listed to see where a certain player stands in his position.

Would also love an option to view say 'most goals in a season' list so I can see where someone's season ranks. For example, just had Austin Matthews score 68 goals in my game and want to see how that compares to other players best seasons

If you go to NHL-History screen and click on 'Leaderboards', you can see the best single seasons and career totals in each category. If you click on a category (e.g. single season - Goals) it will list the top 100 seasons (or career totals) for that category.

Would be nice if they could implement something similar on the 'Records' screens.....

Yeah, that should be easy enough to do, I'll put it on the list.

I'm less sure about this one. Not a bad idea, but there may be some issues with processing the history of every player that's ever been in the league to find the single-seasons bests. Might have to be stored as part of the player history itself, rather than calculated on the fly, which would be something we'd need to do in a new version.

The territories for each league? In-game, it's:

Pacific - WHL
Central - WHL
Southwest - WHL
Upper Midwest - WHL and OHL
Lower Midwest - OHL
Southeast - OHL
Atlantic - OHL
New England - QMJHL

Is it possible to promote a team using the commisioner mode? At least I did not find a way, yet. To be more specific: I want to play with a team from the German Oberliga (3rd division). As this is a non playable league, I want to move the team to the DEL2 (Second division) at the start of the game.

It would be awesome, but at the time it's not possible. You could import the team...not sure if it's available in the DEL2, in other leagues like the KHL it surely is.
The import will create an exact copy of everything, but not the records. I would suggest you to then retire all the people from the "old" club so to avoid duplicates. You can also rename the old club.
And how awesome would it be if we could edit affiliates in Europe

I swear I'm having a senior moment here. but I can set lines.. call up and send down players etc.. but I can't remember how to select goalies from game to game .. I thought I read something about a goalies tab somewhere but don't know where that is .. all help is appraciated

It's under Lines. Or you can do so just prior to the game by flipping to Special tab (I believe it's that without looking) and switching it there.

Ok.. I went to lines and on the far left at the top.. we have goalie names with a box .. If I right click I can get replace with.. it I pick the other goalie.. it still does nothing.. and not sure what to do as for checking that box on the left.. during before the game on tthe special tab.. I have the to goalies at the bottom.. but not sure what to do with them to switch.. having a bad day here.. help

Lindenwood University is adding an NCAA D1 team for the 2022/2023 season. Would it be possible to hardcode them into the game like Coachella Valley is?

Is it possible to put the game in a window like in ootp baseball instead of it being locked in fullscreen? If so, how? I usually sim games while doing other stuff so it would be nice

It'll only default to fullscreen if the window size (in Settings on the start screen) is set to a resolution where the height and/or width is equal to or greater than your desktop resolution. As long as it's under both measurements, it'll be windowed.

Wouldn't really need to be hardcoded, I'll just put them in the database with a forced empty roster for 21-22, the same way I have Alaska-Anchorage this season.

I'm trying to get the NHL schedule format for the 92-93 season.. when I load that season the rules section is ghosted out.. I want to start a league with 24 teams using that year's schedule format.. whats the best thing to do.. I searched the web and found no format for that season.. just results.. all help is appreciated.. and Merry Christmas to everyone

I want a 84 game schedule like 92-93 with league reduced to 24 teams.. I can't delete ECHL or below affiliated teams therefore I can't release those plaers to free agency.. am I forced to start in 92 and just set the league to not expand?

In OOTP, you have the option to choose every news feed around the world in your franchise instead of adding them one-by-one. Would it be something possible in a future update. Would save a lot of time too

When you set up the 92 season, enable historical editing and choose the July 1 start date. That'll let you get to the structure tab in league-edit and export the schedule file.
