"Our League" Season 4--Who Wants To Play Our Way?

Just Babel and Silly into the playoffs, but a whopping 6 teams relegated. I'd say that Seattle and Waffletown were particularly unfortunate.

For the Kauff Award, I've gone with Silly's George Brett and his 116 RBI, over Coney Island's higher WAR Luke Appling.

For the True Award, Babel's Greg Maddux led in Wins (20), ERA (1.90), WHIP (0.99), BB/9 (1.1), and by a long way with 10.1 rWAR.

Good luck to Babel and Silly in the playoffs!

Once again an epic collapse by Waffletown to finish the season, as they went 1-6 in their last 7 games. Though for the Mad Brewers, that 1 Syrups win was huge as I believe that loss cost them the OL crown, so a bit of spoiler played by Waffletown in their last game before packing up for Silver

Late season disappointment

Port Ruppert's 18-6 September left them a game short of remaining in diamond and left me rather disgruntled and disinterested. The wild swings of the game engine leave me bewildered at times, in fact, most times.

Even automatic luck has been unlucky. With only a couple missions which hold little interest left to complete, I bought nine perfect packs and pulled six live, including two Corbin Burnes to go with the one I already had. The three historical included a dupe and two that won't crack the lineup. I just figured, after opening a 145 packs that gave me only a couple of live diamonds I needed some assurance of luck. I guess I kind of got it.

Yeah at that point here with a decent amount in the war chest but not enough to buy anyone in the ah who would make a difference and not enough to complete missions to get them that route. Thought about burning it on packs but figured I’d just let it build up for now

2069 is Set

All movement is set, so you can use this to check your list for next week. Silver looks to have 22 teams as there will be no promotions from there to gold. Unfortunately, both my team and Rev. McGator's team will be going up to silver, so I'm guessing that bronze will have a dozen teams, but no crown. If you know anybody therein, reach out to them. Diamond will have at least four and gold, just five.

In PT, Paxville is still alive in diamond, Babel and Silly in gold, silver is empty, West Burlington and Sunday in bronze (San Francisco also in B211, and Lumberton in iron. Good luck to all.

Diamond - Nowhere, Knockemstiff, Babel, Silly
Gold - Port Ruppert, Cary, Algoma, Coney Island, Brooklyn
Silver - HelthWyzer, Otsego Lake, Route 66, Cleveland, Baltimore, New York, Gear Terrace, Asylum, South Holland, Gettysburg, Las Vegas, Lemp Ave., Waffletown, Seattle, Sugar Hill, Annandale,Sonora High, Keystone, San Francisco, Terra Incognita, Sunday, West Burlington
Bronze - Left Coast, Daytona Beach, Asheboro, Iron Maiden, Boston, Lumberton, Shinbone, Shoebox, Inland Empire, Bluffton, Boulder City
Iron - Hartford

Until Next Season

Don't forget your list and to perhaps reach out into bronze to encourage some standings or at least end of the week screen shots of the team vs, team.

2069 tier breakdown:

missed Iron Maiden at Bronze and Babel at Diamond.... also, Annandale has dropped the OL tag. Have they pulled out of the group?

Iron= 1 team
Bronze= 11 teams (10 in one league / 1 in another)
Silver= 22 teams
Gold= 5 teams
Diamond= 5 teams (4 in one league / 1 in another)

Somehow Baltimore is sequestered as lone OL team in their division. Healthy competition in all other divisions.

Sorry I was traveling and did not have time (or access) to change friend's list (never anticipated going to Diamond with the Librarians). I know Babel will lose most of their games in Diamond but those losses would have helped all the others get to 10 games.

I'm kind of glad that it wasn't just down to me screwing up!

Seattle, Waffletown, and HelthWyzer jump to the front. The Syrups' and Crakes' strong starts make it look like it could be a long season for Route 66 and Asylum.

Streaking Southpaws Lead in Gold

Included in Cary's 27-0 record for May was a four game sweep of Brooklyn. They added a win over Port Ruppert before play ended, the 30th straight triumph of their current skein. Guess they're favorites in the five-team OL. Given the limited action, the next standings won't be until Friday or Saturday.

Algoma Advance to Top in Gold

Yesterday actually was the busiest day of the season, hence this post. The Penguins grabbed the top spot. Given the limited games, Brooklyn is eliminated, and Port Ruppert must win all its games to have a shot. Coney Island might squeak in by winning six of seven. Clearly the race is between Algoma and Cary. I'll skip standings tomorrow.

A big day for HelthWyzer to move comfortably into first. Seattle had a rough time with both Cleveland and Sugar Hill, including a 3-game sweep to the Gang.
