The combined pitching of Bugs Raymond (21-4, 1.67) and Mordecai Brown (17-8, 1.62) have helped Cleveland to stay in front with their sizable lead over Philadelphia.
The combo have recorded 11 shut outs this season alone. But not the case over in the National League. The Cubs have a three game lead over the Cardinals. George
Stone (.349 3 HR 56 RBIs) is doing his best to help St Louis. Doc White (20-6, 2.16) leads the Chicago attack.

10 games remain and it looks like it will be coming down to the wire. St Louis Cardinals have overtaken the Cubs and lead by a
single game. Cardinals are hoping to get back to the World Series when they won it all in 1905. The Cubs want it even more as
they have not been to post season since they defeated the Washington Senators in 1899.

Over in the National League, the race is tight with St Louis and Pittsburgh going back and forth. This may very be the first season with a 100 loss team.
