Since there are two major updates left,I really hope that we could have the ability to add Generic,Unplayable Leagues in Custom mode,similar to the unticked/Unplayable leagues in standard start
in that way,the generated players in Custom mode would have some history before getting drafted by the top league

I am a long time very satisfied OOTP user and have been looking at FHM8 as my next gaming challenge but have some concerns about my computer. OOTP works great on it but when looking at specifications for FHM8 I have concerns.

I am using an older Mac with only 4 GB memory and notice that FHM8 requirers 8 GB RAM. Will my computer be able to run FHM8?

If I disable the historical accuracy in an historical game (i.e. Team activation, Rule changes, contract settings, arena change, Playoff format etc.) will those things still happen randomly. for example the Trashers stays in Atlanta past 2011 and the Islanders moves to Winnipeg in 2008. Or the playoff changes in 2017 instead of 2013, stuff like that

It will, but it'll likely be pretty slow and, if you play a standard game for several seasons the performance will gradually downgrade to the point of becoming unplayable.

No, if you turn all of the options off, you'll have to make any changes yourself.

No to both at the moment, although the state/province filter should be simple enough to add (and probably useful for something I want to do soon.)

The trade logic in historical games seems flawed. I did a post-lockout game and Almost every trades involves a 7ht round pick for a player. The same pick is traded multiple times by the same team too. And there's no big trades like in real-life

How do you earn monthly points to use in each month? I have all expenses set to the lowest setting and it shows I'm still in the minus starting/ending points.

Is there a way to customize the tiles on the team home page? I thought I remember that but it isn't available as it is on the manager home page. I am an NHL team so not sure why there is a "parent team" tile so I'd like to replace it with something else.

That sounds like your yearly points you assign on July 1st are making it tough for you. What team are you? New save?

What mode did you start in? What team are you? Can you screenshot what you're seeing?

New Standard Game, Current database playing as an added expansion team. Screenshot attached. On the manager home there are drop downs for each tile to customize them. They are not on the team page.

You got seven foreign players on your roster, only four are allowed

EDIT: also, you need to have 8 players under 23 yrs, currently there are 7

They are all unplayable anyways, so I'm not sure. We can look into it.

Go to your teams page (if it's game day, click on the team on the home screen or otherwise find it under the WORLD drop down). When you get to the roster screen, there's a tab to move over for possible team players.

Not if you're just GMing. HC makes all those choices.
