I am very open to whatever someone comes up with i need one for the Worldwide Boxing Association (WWBA) and the Latin American Boxing Association (LABA). I am a long way from needing one for the WWBA so the LABA is the one i am looking to get first.

Question Remember the WAA?

The organization formed for Sean O'Grady and Monte Masters still exists, and its current heavyweight champion is someone named Gene Pukall, with Maskaev as the no. 1 contender.

The Web site is www.waaboxing.com, and the logo is attached. If anyone wants to take a crack at a belt for this bunch, that would be cool. Thanks in advance!

P.S.: This is how I used my 1,000th OOTP post ... LOL!

Wink And the WAA ...

... has a link to the International Boxing Union's site, an organization I wasn't familiar with. It currently has no heavyweight champ (Klitschko ranked no. 1), and its Web site is www.IBUboxing.com for those interested. Attached is its logo for the beltmakers amongst us.

Update, Pukall is also the IBU champ. See below.

After doing some ...

... digging, I found Mr. Pukall is from Berlin, Germany, and boasts a 14-11-2 career record (representing Andreas' homeland well ... LOL!). He won the WAA strap from someone named Frank Bohme, then beat Ingo Jade in a defense to add the IBU belt. Losses include Willi Fischer, Konstantin Onofrei, Marcel Beyer, Andreas Sidon (twice, in bids for the German and WBB titles) and Rene Dettweiler.

We don't have a WBB belt, either, do we? Hmmm ...

Here is his pic ...:

WBB stands for ...

... for World Boxing Board, and it is a 14-year-old organization based out of El Paso, Texas. I'm pretty sure Pukall is NOT its heavyweight champion! Don't know who is (Sidon, maybe?), or much else about this bunch. Its Web page is just that ... one page: http://www.boxinggyms.com/worldboxingboard.htm

Here is its logo:

Wink OK, I'll stop ...

... hijacking the thread now with this final thought. Has anyone done continental championship belts for Africa or South America? We have Europe, Asia, Australasia and North America ... just as well do them all, eh?

As for states, Florida, New York and Pennsylvania might be useful, as well as Ohio and Nevada. Thanks to all who have posted on this string so far. I appreciate all of you.

Hi V-Man,

I've already done a belt for Africa and Pennsylvania, and I'll have a go at some of the others (including the ones for gocubsgo). I'll post them when done.

Cheers,

Shane.

Much appreciated, Shane. Need any Aussies rated? Be glad to reciprocate ...

Guess I'd better go back and look for Africa and Pennsylvania. Must have missed them.

Thanks again, sir.

Here's the African belt. I did it but must of forgotten to post it (or it got posted during the "big crash"). I think the Pennsylvanian belt is two pages back.

Cheers,

Shane.

WAA belt!

Shane;

Found this WAA belt on the Net, but don't know how to set it up for our size or with the backdrop you have been using.

Thanks again.

Couldn't even find ...

... a real logo or belt for the Universal Boxing Council (UBC) on the Net. Did find their ratings from 2004 on a quasi-Web site, though: http://ubc_ratings.tripod.com/

Also found the logo of the Universal Boxing Club out of Salzkammergut, Germany, LOL!

IBU and WBB ...

... heavyweight champion Andreas Sidon.
He's 32-6-0, and is also the German and former Austrian heavyweight champion at age 43. Scheduled to defend the German strap against Egon Roth on Sept. 16.
Notable losses are to Alexander Dimitrenko, Balu Sauer and Wayne Llewelyn. Has an NC6 with Nicolay Valuev.
Wins against Pukall (twice), Willi Fischer, Chris Sirengo, Marcel Beyer and Piotr Jurczyk.
