Algoma setting a blazing 11-1 pace to close out the season, while Coney Island could only manage a 9-6 finish. It lead to a Penguin crown by the slim margin of .005. Amazing!

Asheboro took care of their limited OL business and swept Daytona Beach en route to an OL B234 title. Gear Terrace and Shinbone battled to the end, but came up just short.
No teams will be relegated, and in the topsy-turvy world that is OL, last-place Daytona Beach joins five other OL teams in the playoffs. |

I Have Had Enough
This will be my last week for PT. I thank the members of Our League for making it so enjoyable to play a game which, to be honest, I find lacking in many respects. It would have been nice to have gotten the chance to be slaughtered in Perfect a few weeks ago, but sadly, a Greg Maddox error (He of the 18 Gold Gloves!) opened the door to several unearned runs and an extra inning loss in game seven of the Diamond Series. At this point, I'm not sure I will be back for PT 23, even with the lure of a Brooks Robinson starter card, which could be going to waste. However, I think the only way I might recover some interest is to quit for a few weeks and see if absence rekindles any fondness. I'd be happy to cover Bronze this week, but it may not be every day. I'll post the crowns, et al, next Sunday and that'll be it. Again, thanks to all, and I'm sorry I can't find the motivation to finish out the run. I've attached the PT 22 version of the "Return to Oz" I've been posting at the end of each OL iteration. Let me know if I've missed anyone from this go 'round and I'll fix it next Sunday.

With the team movements settled, except for Paxville, which still plays in Diamond, next season assignments follows. In PT play, we're still alive for all OL Series in Gold, Silver(for sure), and Bronze. See you later with some hardware, hopefully. If the game cooperates, we'll have four crowns next week.Here's the skinny:
