Baez walked and stole two bases on consecutive pitches only to be stranded at third.

I could have gotten the same emotional roller coaster effect from that 2-minute stretch as I did watching all 3 Chicago games.

Got to hear Craig Monroe for the first time this weekend. Can't believe how much he sounds like Rod Allen. Good thing is, he doesn't repeat everything he says 3 or 4 times, which is what made me despise Allen with every bone in my body.

Anyone else think it was silly that Hinch didn't make Short bunt Saturday in the 10th with guys on 1st and 2nd with no outs? Then again, Short is a super stud at the plate, so why bother.

I wonder if morale is down a bit with the spate of injuries happening. As well the quality of players not being as high due to those injuries.
