Honestly, the attendance issue in Miami is just bizarre. They used to draw fans in droves to spring training games when they didn't have a team

I mean, one game with Mets visiting the Orioles in March of 1987 (I believe) drew over 25,000 fans. That's what, a good week nowadays?

Well, the batter looked like a Pirate. If the Pirates were playing an away team with red-lined uniforms, then I had my game.

Sure enough, that's from Phillies at Pirates from last night. The play, shown from a normal camera view, is the fourth highlight down. And yes, Isiah Kiner-Falefa had a bunt single, loading the bases and leading to the Pirates' walkoff win in the bottom of the ninth.

For my 10pm serving of baseball today, I watched the Barves-Giants game (who knows how much longer Krukow and Kuiper will remain around), and it became the third excruciating late-inning L for the Barves I've seen in the last 10 days or so

Matt Chapman with a huge bonk to left, flipping the score with two outs in the bottom 9th, aaaand curtains!

So much cackling with glee. Mets are gonna get trounced by 15 by the Mountaintops tonight, and I deserve it.
