Cardinals & Browns Make Trade
The St. Louis Cardinals found a trading partner in the St. Louis Browns, sending pitcher Tom Walker in return for pitcher Roger Denzer and 2nd baseman Curt Bernard. It is interesting that the Cardinals were willing to move on from Walker (the #10 overall ranked prospect) just 1 month after acquiring him the Phillies.
