At least we probably won't have another Mahomes super bowl. Hopefully the Seahawks can get healthy and make a run. Other than that the Rams are looking pretty good and I could see the Bills or Broncos in the AFC.

Chip Kelly let go as Raider's OC. I remember when this guy was @ Oregon how he was supposed to be the next great offensive genius. So much for that.

That decision was so stupid it deserves an award named after it. You have to take the lead there. Under no circumstances can you come away with nothing. It's demoralizing.

The same scenario, with even less time on the clock happened in the Miami/Wash game last week. It should have cost Miami the game, but Wash. missed the FG.

I think these dumb decisions, what the Cowboys and Giants did, and what Miami did last week is due to one factor. No trust in the defense. I get it. But you can't allow that to cause you to make bad decisions.

You know what the lesser of two evils is IMO, getting a FG instead of nothing. You had your chance on 3 downs, don't make it worse.

The Cowboys specifically, you got a gift ball at your opponents 7 yard line. You cannot come away from that with nothing.

Main gripe I have w/this staff is this team is never ready to go to work. They start the game & the season w/no energy, attitude, urgency, fire, spirit, nothing. It is like Ben Stein or Eeyore gives the pep talk before they go out on the field. Does anyone on this roster or holding a clipboard look like they ever get angry when they are playing awful? They have the passion of a weekend trash pickup detail on the highway. There is no shifting of gears. They just put it into neutral & hope they are on a long hill that can get them moving.

I approve of their going for two when the penalty placed the ball at the 1. I just can't figure how that equates to "have Tiny Bryce throw a crossing route when SF barely has any turf to defend".

Why not

a) send Rico up the middle
b) send Chuba up the middle
c) fake it up the middle and have Bryce roll out on an RPO
d) bring out a box for Bryce to stand on

…instead?

U want 2 go 4 2 to take the lead, I'm OK with. U want 2 go 4 2 in anticipation of taking the lead, U R creating a potential problem for your self. I don't mind going 4 2 early on a trick play out of kick formation, down 2, up 1, the margin is 5, or it cuts down how many times U have 2 score on a comeback. Otherwise, take the easy one.

I don't agree if you're going to pass the ball. Having the ball at the 1 as opposed to the 2 makes no difference if you're going to pass it. Just go for 2 from the 2. You're going to see the same defense. Why does the extra yard want you to pass the ball more?

You can rejoice all you want, it's not going to make a difference. This is why you usually don't see coordinators get fired mid season. It makes no difference. Your team is playing the exact same defense for the rest of the year. Who calls the plays might change.
