Babe Ruth (1-3, 3.00) makes his debut with the Boston Braves and wins 3-2. Reb Russell is leading the Robins with his 4-0, 0.25 record.

June 1st 1916 Update
There is a hot race heating up in the American League with Chicago, New York, and Washington battling it out to see who will advance to this year's World Series. Senator's
Harry Harper set a record for the most scoreless innings pitched with 44. Lefty Tyler of the New York Giants was the current holder with 36 scoreless innings. Babe Ruth
(Boston Braves .272) leads all batters with 4 home runs.

July 1st 1916 Update
The White Sox went south with misfortune against the St Louis Browns. Before the Browns came to town, Chicago was riding a 6 game losing streak. St Louis has stayed
in the hunt and trail the Senators by 2 games. Over in the National League, the Robins are enjoying a 4 game lead over the Cubs.

A combination of a 18-9 month of June and a St Louis team that beat up on the White Sox have landed us in First Place. George Sisler was once again named Rookie of the Month.

August 1st Update
The St Louis Browns came within a half game of the Senators thanks to an 11 game winning streak. Jeff Tesreau pitched the League's first No Hitter of the season against
the Athletics. Cubs are trying to stay in the race over in the National League, they are on a 9-1 run.

St Louis almost caught up to us, thanks to an 11 game winning streak, then they cooled off a bit. George Sisler is trying to make it a perfect Rookie season with al the Rookie of the Months.

September 1st 1916 Update
The season is winding down with the last 30 games or so. The American League looks to crown the Senators as the champs.
Over in the National League it is still up in the air as Brooklyn hold a slight lead over the Cubs.

Senators reeled off a 19-7 August with Walter Johnson, Rogers Hornsby, and George Sisler named Pitcher of the Month, Batter of the Month, and Rookie of the Month respectfully.

We are winding down the season fast. Both divisions have some nice pennant races going on. In the American League, there is a crucial series between Washington and St Louis.
As in the National League, the Robins and Cubs do not play each other until later in the month.

May 1st 1917 Update
The Washington Senators and the Boston Braves all raced out of the gate. Babe Ruth is leading the Braves with his 3 home runs. Eddie Collins for the Senators is leading
all batters with his .413 BA. No other team is close behind except the Pittsburgh Pirates.

June 1st 1917 Update
The Boston Braves dropped 4 straight to fall out of first into second and now are tied with the Cardinals. The Senators were briefly tied with the Boston Red Sox earlier in the month.
Babe Ruth is the surprise hit of the whole league with his 8th home run of the season. Pete Alexander (Washington) leads all pitchers with his 9th win. Ty Cobb is batting almost
.400 in leading the Red Sox

Babe Ruth did not hit a home run during the first half of June, but hit 2 during the later half. St Louis and Chicago are battling it out over in the National League.
Meanwhile, Washington is holding onto a comfortable lead over Boston.

A good ole fashion duels are happening in the National League. Boston, Chicago, and St Louis are going back and forth for first place.
Babe Ruth hits 7 homers during the month to increase his total to 17. Ty Cobb had his 23 game hitting streak halted

The National League race got a lot tighter with Pittsburgh trying to get into the hunt. Babe Ruth failed to hit a single home run during the month.
In the American League, the Senators are riding a comfortable of 10 games over the Chicago White Sox. Ty Cobb got hit 2500th hit
