Wondering how difficult it would be?- to add eyewear to the facegens of Rance Mulliniks, Eric Plunk and Ron Davis, all wore thick glasses in-game for most of their careers (sorry, I couldn't find a halfway decent one of Plunk, just Rance and Ron there) -

Rance and Ron have glasses. The thin frames only show up so well on PC, I'm sure they are washed out on a Mac. Nothing much to do about that. I have not made a Plunk so can give him a try.

Lands, is there any chance you could take a stab at a rework of Frank Thomas?

It's not that the facegens are bad in there it's just they don't look like him. I've run several attempts and they never look like him, just generic black guy.

Frank is always smiling so in my mind's eye, anything not smiling isn't him but does this one capture more of his jovial self (I still closed the mouth).

Tom Herr

The St. Louis Cardinals captured three National League pennants during the 1980s. The team’s stalwart second baseman during the successful run was Tom Herr, a line-drive hitter who played outstanding defense and had a knack for getting on base. In his All-Star season of 1985, Herr hit .302 with career bests in home runs (8) and runs batted in (110). The switch-hitter batted .271, accumulated 1,450 hits, and committed only 77 errors over the course of his 13-year major league career. “Cool Hand Luke. That’s what comes to mind when I think about Tom. He is a cool cucumber, but at the same time, he is fiercely competitive,” former teammate Andy Van Slyke once said. - SABR

Tom Herr began his big-league career with 1,160 at-bats without a home run. Finally, against the Giants’ Andy McGaffigan on May 10, 1983, Herr hit his first HR. “Now the pressure’s really on,” the Giants’ Duane Kuiper, who at that point had one homer in 3,069 big league at-bats and would finish his career with one homer in 3,379 ABs, told the San Francisco Examiner. “They’ll expect him to hit another one.” Eight days later, Herr would homer again off Houston’s Bill Dawley.

Yes, perc, the old facegen was something... This one is better.

And one last request for today, also from that same era: the Danny Cox looks like it could use a makeover.

Danny Cox

His road began in the late 1970s as un-recruited pitcher who tried out on a whim with an Alabama juco called Chattahoochee Valley and, from there, soldiered on – right into his big-league debut in August 1983. Not that it was an ordinary debut. Instead, Danny Cox was matched opposite the great Steve Carlton of the Philadelphia Phillies. Carlton pitched nine shutout innings. Cox? Try 10 shutout innings.

Which was a sign of things to come, thanks to manager Whitey Herzog. “Oh, he chewed me out a few times,” Cox said, laughing. “But he always put me in there.” The burly right-hander certainly won over Herzog and the St. Louis Cardinals, emerging as an all-out workhorse of their mid-1980s starting rotations. And his success is why the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame is proud to induct Cox with the Class of 2022. - MO HOF

Here's a redone one.

Sure, I recognize some of those from the list I'm working off from my other thread - I hadn't forgotten. Just only so many hours in a day. The job that pays me has been demanding of late

Okay, diesel, let's knock these out. No narrative, just the facegens coming your way...

Dayro looked too generic when I took away the whole smile, so smiling (closed mouth) he remains...
