It's an AI decision, the AI doesn't put them on the Opening Day roster. Haveband jacked up the ratings, but they still won't put them on the OD roster, if we jacked them up even more they would be way overrated.

In case you missed it, Dodgers minor league outfielder Aaron Miller has retired. Also, Yasmani Grandal started 33 games at first last year, but has no rating there.
A question. How do you get guys who are suspended for 50 games (or more -I have one suspended for 365 - is that right?) off the active roster? There's no reserve roster, and they're not injured. Do they have to be released?

Cubs OD roster has Kris Bryant on ML team(he deserves it but its been highly publicized that he'd be in the minors to start the year) David Ross is in AAA when the Cubs are carrying 3 catchers. Ryan Sweeney has been DFA and released. Jonathan Hererra made the OD roster. Otherwise another great installment in this series.

AI decisions. Bryant's ratings are so high that the AI is going to put him on the roster, meanwhile Ross' are pretty low. If we fooled around with the ratings any more to get them on the correct team, it would screw up their actual abilities.

Hey guys,

First of all the latest patch looks awesome. Big thank you to everyone who worked on it.

I noticed that now that Christian Vazquez has been moved to the DL for the year, he is listed as being an upcoming FA after 2015. Is there any way I can put in the game that he has a renewable(?) contract until 2018 where he will be eligible for arbitration?

Issue I raised not resolved in new update. Here it is again -

A number of current MLB coaches/GM's are in the game as retired and cannot be unretired unless you recreate them. An example is Omar Minaya who I wanted to use as the GM for my expansion Montreal Expos. He wasn't in the Free Agent list so I searched for him and found him as 'retired'. I used the editor and made him the GM of the Expos and he was still listed as retired despite having a job, valid contract.

Since then I have deleted him and recreated him but this then meant he had 21yrs of experience but was created with a reputation of unproven or inexperienced. Another example is Tom Goodwin the current Mets first base coach who is listed as retired as well. Again I can delete him and go to his player listing and unretire him and make him a coach but again he loses his reputation value and becomes inexperienced or unproven. There are a number other coaches and GM's in the game like this.

Could all coaches/gm's/managers who are currently in the MLB or have been recently (may have been fired for example) be made free agents instead of retired in the next update.

** Additional bit of Info - I assigned Minaya to the Expos in Commish mode using the editor but it still lists him on his profile page as Team Montreal Expos Current Job Retired and having no contract. On the Front Office Personnel Screen it says he has a 1 year Contract with a salary of $500,000 with the Expos

Also when you search he shows as GM of expos and not retired but in profile Current Job is still retired**

Ok, I un-retired most of the guys in the db who are still fairly young/have been active recently.

I've installed the latest patch but the Royals OD roster is not correct. Rafael Furcal is on the active roster and Paulo Orlando is in AAA. In real life Furcal was released on March 31 and Paulo Orlando won the last roster spot.

Well, it's an ai thing.

But the Royals actually re-signed Furcal two days after releasing him. So that part's right.

Ok so I started a new game and grabbed these screenshots before I did anything...

Also, I didn't take a screenshot of it, but it doesn't show him in the major league salary page.

He's correctly eligible for minor league free agency after 2015.

As long as he's in the majors (even on the 40 man, I think) that won't be an issue.

Isn't he on the MLB DL though? So I think he'll be ok in that case.
