I don't think so. I haven't broken these guys down by weight class when I create them and save them in files.

When checking box rec for TC possibilities I fine a number of candidates (guys with wonderful names) that have no weight class. So far I've ignored them in favor of guys I can at least make a reasonable guess at weight for. I'm thinking about assigning an arbitrary weight to these guys with a note that their actual weight is unknown or flexible.

What are your thoughts on this?

I'm all for it Bear. An easy way to do that is to see who they fought and at what weight their opponents were around. That's usually a good estimate.

That's how I work currently but some times none of the opponents have weights listed. I then look at the fight cards assuming that weights may have been varied or assume that someone named Pixie wasn't a heavyweight.

When I list a TC and have they weight and home followed by question marks I am indicating a guess on my part. I just want to go a tad further and not skip some of the "Fun" names I find.

I just realized that I have a nice number of fictional HW's who could double as my Cruiserweight TC's in my universe.

I can imagine a bunch of Stiff's sitting around a big widescreen in a local gym. It's Friday night and they're all wearing their trunks, sitting around until the phone rings and the guy who answers yells, They need a Lightweight and a Cruiserweight over at the Convention center! A Lightweight and Cuiserweight jump up from their chairs (beer and chips go flying), jump into an old, beat up van, and head down the road towards the arena with the vehicles smoking and sputtering.

Then, when they get there, they run into the arena, introduce themselves to the cornermen (for the first time) and make the walk down the isle, up the steps and into the ring to face a fighter who's anywhere between an 8-14. It's the life of a bum, stiff or TC in TBCB 2.5.

I've been to cards where the programs don't arrive until 15 minutes before the first bout because they waited until the last minute to print them due to substitutions. Happens quite a bit at my favorite local venue, Cicero Stadium. Place has great old time fight club atmosphere. Only missing cigar smoke.
