After going through the raiders 2006 season and last 5 years, raider fans can relate to what your going through. Herm needs to make a choice on qb at least for a whole game.

If this ridiculous non-overturn (why couldnt the NFL use the TV footage) delivers an undeserved victory to the Broncos, it could ruin the Chargers season..being 0-2.
Another idiotic call on a fumble that should have been Chargers ball but wasnt because the Ref blew the whistle because he thought it was an inc pass.

A truly ridiculously officiated game

I'm the biggest Broncos fan on the planet. That said, San Diego has absolutely gotten boned in this game.

WTF, going for two?

The Broncos score but this is the most undeserved win ever.

What a sad afternoon for the Chargers. Screwed twice in a big way. Let's see if they can do anything with 24 seconds left.

It is an exciting game and I never thought I would be making pro Charger posts.

I agree that the ref blew it by blowing the whistle too soon but after getting the clarification on the call i think the review booth got it right. It was just the refs fault for blowing the whistle too soon. Still it was an 8 yd loss. The chargers could have still stopped them.

But there was also the horrible screwup in the first half that went against the Chargers and gave the Broncos 7 points.

True, im not saying i dont feel the chargers got robbed, but they could have still won. But at least my raiders are in 2nd place. If you told me there would be 2 winless teams in the AFC west and neither would be the raiders i probably wouldnt have taken that bet. But the chargers bounced back last season.
They arent neccessary playing bad. Just getting some bad breaks. The broncos may get blown out in SD.

Im a Raiders fan too. I was hoping the earth would open up and swallow both the Chargers and the Broncos.

Ed Hochuli - you and your triceps have been put on notice.

That was ridiculous.

Oh, and my Green Bay Packers are 2-0. New York Jets: 1-1.

Kiss my ass, Favre.

You know i just dont see how that call is any different than the tuck call or some of the calls last monday night. Espn makes it sound like the call cost the chargers the game but what happened when they were up 38-31? Their defense should have stepped it up. I have a feeling that Denver's karma is gonna be reversed at the end of the year.

Go Niners. I think the offense had more yards in that game then about 1/2 of last season. I'd also bet JT is the first Niner QB in probably almost 5 years to throw for over 300.

Once the ref blows the whistle it's over. What they need to do in situaltions like this is allow the play to continue and do not blow the whistle. This way they can make their "on the field call" after the play is dead. Just because they allow the play to continue doesn't mean they cannot say it was incomplete or down by contact afterwards. Had the ref done that, he could have then said it was an incomplete pass and then it could have been overturned.
