No problem, I'll chalk it up to a bug. I switch back and forth from Broadcast to 3D and still have no Webcast mode listed. As long as it is supposed to be there (hopefully it is) I'll let you guys fix it. Thanks!

Fantastic. For about the past 5-6 years I get excited about OOTP but in my old age (70 now) I just get bogged down with all the details and end up playing World Series matches from time to time.

I am so impressed with the game screen and bigger park image along with being able to put all the stat stuff to the right hand side. Excellent.

Script and sounds...superb.

Wonder if there is a way to slow down the ball flight so these old eyes can follow it better. : )

Anyway...looking forward to a lot of reading and adjusting and hope the Manager mode helps to lessen some of the details.

Thanks for what looks like a splendid new baseball game. I can see real possibilities that this one will become my number one game...hmmm.

It's actually faster. Seems a lot faster to me, but I think Markus has said it's 10% faster.

Does RAM make the game quicker? As in I have 4GB but does 8 make it speedier? My computer also is pretty old I wouldn't be surprised if it was just that.

Yeah RAM makes a huge difference.

During beta my old PC fried.

Bought a new PC, with an upgrade from 8 GB RAM to 16 GB RAM. You'd think it would be twice as fast, but everything is more like 5 times as fast

In my first 2 weeks of Spring Training during my new historical mash up league, I lose Rod Carew for 2 months! Thanks guys! Game looks and plays great, smoother on my laptop then 15!

OOTP can, but if you have more RAM, that's stuff that Outlook, Chrome, or whatever else is running can use. If you have 8 or 16, the "excess" is better used by other programs.

And also, when a lot of people say they upgrade from 8 to 16, you often don't just get more RAM, often you'll get faster RAM as well.

Hey I'm at work right now so I can't check but does the draft rules change if you play historical? For example, back in the 90's we didn't have draft pick compensation but we have it now. Does it automatically change once you hit the time period where the new rules start? (Asked this before but didn't get a reply)

That and a good processor helps a lot

Looks really great & stable after a couple of hours..Loving small additions in the interface..The trade screen is better than ever with the new strengths & weaknesses. Same goes with players profile screen.
3D view is a huge improvement from last version.

Though early it does feel like the best version of OOTP yet.

Marcus....I see that the copy and paste of the serial number is working fine for some people. Any idea why it would NOT work for me? I can't be the only one this is happening to, right? The paste works in word, xls, Apache, etc, etc. Just not in OOTP.

I use Win 7 and nothing extraordinary about my system.

Btw, despite that gripe, everything looks good so far.!

So far so good, download took 8 minutes, installation took less, maybe 4 minutes? ( My PC is about 2.5 yrs old and has 6 MB RAM, regular wireless router, regular home network)

Imported my custom/historical teams league from 15 smoothly
Photos, logos all there took 3 minutes ?

Diving in now .......

I have never heard about this before, there is something fishy going on with your system that blocks the usage of the CTRL key in OOTP I suppose. Also, since you only have to enter it once, I don't see the problem to be honest. You will lose far more time actually playing the game than typing in a serial number.
