Only in the sixth season of MLB expansion....as the Expos of course. I can never play as much as I want to. On our way to our first play-off experience. I just signed Mike Trout. He is well on his way to the HOF but claiming him as mine is a bit of a stretch!

Jose Fernandez is a stud in my league as well. Though not super star stats like you've got. He finished with just over 300 wins for his career. He left Miami via FA but signed with the Dodgers where he played the rest of his career.

Those are some impressive stats he's got. I'm a sentimental baseball guy so I would sign him to get the record.

Wow! A great thread, and an amazing career for Mr Hernandez! To have 100% of the HOF vote, and have his number retired on the same day of his retirement are all unbelievable. He must be like a God to that franchise now.

He was a HUGE impact on my teams performance in staying top and in playoff hunt. I had a couple seasons where I had 5 future HOFs on my team. One of the players I didn't expect to get the HOF nod. Three Pitchers and 2 hitters.

Right now I have 2 players I think have a half way decent shot at HOF Both pitchers.... It seems I can get the pitching down but the hitters a bit harder for me.

I grew up in Detroit. I am a HUGE Michigan Wolverine fan. Will root for state except when facing my Wolverines Lions I call the Lydowns. (I know I should have copywrote it LOL) I called them that long before anybody else did. Not big into Hockey just a passive fan there. Basketball I don't follow much anymore as that game is too predictable. Used to love the Grand Rapids Rampage (arena football)

I grew up in Detroit. HUGE Wolverines fan although will root for State except when playing my Wolverines. Lions are known as the lydowns began calling them that (of which I should have copywrote the nickname)back in the weanie Wayne fonts days. Basketball too predictable so I don't follow that short. Hockey is just a passing root for wings.

So I signed Fernandez in the offseason in my franchise. I paid a dear price for him, but after seeing how well he did for you, and he led the NL in strikeouts last season, I'm hoping for some success with him. It's a Phillies franchise and my starting 5 with him involved is looking quite impressive.
