2 More. These catches me up. That is until the master model builder uploads some more. If anyone has suggestions for different/better backgrounds or some other park you would like a background for, just message me on here or by message.

Thanks. I am not satisfied with the perspective of the backgrounds from the 'camera' position behind home plate.. That's why some look better than others. Now that I have them all done am going to work on that. Sounds like a geometric and field/angle of view problem to me.

Here are backgrounds for these two great parks that Silvam recently uploaded. He did a great job on these!

Old Wrigley
Here is a version of Wrigley I have been fooling around with. It is my fondest hope that some day Silvam will make a version, or 2, of older Wrigley's!

Jack Murphy & San Diego
I have upload Silvam's Jack Murphy 1998 with a background even though you can't see much of it whilst playing the game. I used a more realistic background than what I did on his previous Jack Murphy and San Diego 1969. So, I changed the background on those two also and upload those new ones.
I will be working on improving other backgrounds also but I have to go cut weeds now. They have grown 'like weeds' with all the monsoon rains! https://www.mediafire.com/folder/m1q...Ballpark_Files |

Backrounds
I have been messing about with backgrounds that don't look right. I am currently working on parks that have low outfield walls and high stadium walls behind home plate. Those parks look like they are floating on a magic carpet over the background. The problem is getting the 'camera' angle low enough behind home plate when this is a roof in the way. Using the LA Wrigley field as a test, I took out some of the roof so I could get the camera angle lower. I don't like messing up Silvam"s good work but there is no other way, that I know of, to get the camera at the correct angle to make the background look somewhat correct. Here are 2 pictures of the new background with a lower camera angle and one of the first one I did for a comparison.
Let me know what you think and I am open to any constructive suggestions. Thanks |

That's the Wide view. The one to it's left is the overhead, I just cut off home plate when I made the picture. Thanks for the input.

Yeah, nice, nice, nice. Right now I'm thinking the added ambiance of the background more than outweighs any setting sun. Makes a big difference in the feel of the park, I think. Thanks again!
