1964-65 AHA Playoffs Finals June 1 1965 Game 2 - Winnipeg MB Winnipeg 5 Quebec 0 Winnipeg came out flying in game 2 of the AHA Finals, out shooting the Aces 46-17 for a 5-0 win, G - Pavel Kren stopped all 17 shots he face for the win....Winnipeg now has 6 straight wins in the playoffs. 1964-65 AHA Playoffs Finals June 4 1965 Game 3 - Quebec City, PQ. Winnipeg 3 Quebec 0 Winnipeg's Goalie Pavel Kren started were he left off in game 2 by shouting out the Aces in Quebec for a 3-0 win. 1964-65 AHA Playoffs Finals June 7 1965 Game 4 - Quebec City PQ Winnipeg 4 Quebec 3 On a warm June evening the Winnipeg Warriors were crown AHA Champs with a 4-3 win in front of 21,500 at The Colisee. Warriors Scott Howe scored the Winnipeg goal in the 3rd period. Winnipeg ends the playoffs with 8 straight wins, the last lose was to Victoria Cougars 2-1 on May 17. Winnipeg win series 4-0 |

ACH 1965-66 season has come to a finish. Again Victoria Cougars were the top team in the league, finishing with 59 wins, Fog Devils who finish last, last season had 10 more wins this season & made the playoffs. The hottest team in the league was the Thunder Bay Twins, they started the 1965-66 season with a 25 game winning streak going 22-0-3 a new record in the ACH league, they only lost 6 home games all season (33-6-3).
RD Andrew Harris of the Vancouver Canucks won the rookie scoring race with 66ps...here are the top 10 draft picks stats. May 30 1966 Game 1 Winnipeg 7 - Thunder Bay 3 Warriors lead 1-0 Winnipeg Warriors come out flying, beating up the Twins 7-3, firing 57 shots at the Twins goalies, well Thunder Bay had 24 shots. Twins Goalie Angrisani who had 47 wins in the regular season was pull only after 12:00 mins into the game letting in 4 goals on 13 shots, well Winnipeg fired 29 shots in the first period a loan. Winnipeg's LW Levcik had 2g-2a being named 1st star, & C Comitini was named 2nd star with 1g-3a. |

June 1 1966 Game 2 Game 2 saw Thunder Bay a better game, but still the outcome was the same with a 2-1 win by the Warriors. Game 3 is in Thunder Bay, were the Twins hope home ice will get them back into the series. Winnipeg leads 2-0 |

June 4 1966 Game 3 19,000 fans at The Sleeping Giant Arena witness a lackluster game from the Twins who only could mustard 13 shots on goal, and came off loosing to the Warriors 3-1. The Twins players & coaches heard it from the fan's with boos & cruses raining down on them. Warriors lead 3-0 |
