After splitting the first four games, we lost a pivotal game 5 in walkoff fashion (Marcus Semien scored the winning run too).
Atlanta was able to carry the momentum from that victory and won game 6 by a score of 6-5. ![]() World Series MVP was Cristian Pache. He absolutely killed our pitching going 14 for 26 (4 for 4 in game 1) with 3 doubles and 2 homers. We are off to yet another offseason to see how we can improve the team to get them over the hump!!! |

2022 Oakland A's!
A very uneventful offseason, but there are a handful of players now with other teams.
We lost four players in the expansion draft. We are going to have to move our AAA team so it doesn't get confusing. Edit: We have moved our AAA team from Las Vegas to San Jose and renamed them as the "Missions" (1977 Oakland AAA affiliate). Corbin Martin came over from Arizona with Eduardo Escobar and was selected by Las Vegas. Jonah Heim is a switch hitting catcher that we had on our 40 man. We could have traded Austin Allen and maybe protected him, but he is now in Montreal. Grant Holmes hurt his elbow last season and was unprotected. He is still out for 2 more months, but he is in Las Vegas. Garrett Whitley was acquired from Tampa Bay last year. He "was" 3 star potential, but very low contact. He is already 25 and has barely touched AAA. He is now with Las Vegas (in AA). Some of our 2021 players who have signed elsewhere: Ji-Man Choi signed a 1 year deal with KC Eduardo Escobar signed a 1 year deal with STL Ender Inciarte signed a 2 year deal with Boston Seth Lugo signed a 1 year deal with Houston ($13.1 million!) Collin McHugh signed a 4 year deal with Detroit ($39.6 million, 4th year is vesting option) Shun Yamaguchi signed a 1 year deal with SF ($11.2 million!) Here is a look at the pitchers to start 2022! Brady Feigl won the 5th starter spot over T.J. Zeuch. ![]() Here is a look at the batters to start 2022! I would like to find another SS to let Nick Allen start the season in AAA. ![]() Here is who is on the IL to start the season. Nick Gordon going down in spring training was a tough pill to swallow. ![]() Here is the AL preseason predictions for the standings! 85-77 would put us in a tie for a wildcard spot. Let's see if we can do better than the prediction! ![]() Last edited by WarningTrakPower; 05-19-2020 at 08:03 PM. |

2022 Team Update - June Draft!
Very mediocre start to the season so far.
We are sitting four games back of division lead (3 back of wildcard) at the June draft. Check out the Expo's sitting only one game back of the wildcard! ![]() Here is how our pitchers have done so far. Joe Ryan and Daulton Jefferies have both been bumped from the rotation after a poor start to their respective seasons. ![]() Here is how our batters have done far. Great start for our third big batters! ![]() |

We are sitting at 54-49 on July 16, 2022.
That puts us six games back of a wildcard spot, so we might be sellers. Here is a recap of our first three picks in the 2022 MLB Draft! With the 33rd overall pick, we chose Isaiah Bennett, a right handed college starting pitcher from UNC. ![]() With the 72nd overall pick, we chose Michael Braswell, a high school "SS" (projects more as a pitcher though). He is a very old high schooler (almost 20), but can play all over the diamond with good pitching potential. ![]() With the 102nd overall pick, we chose Brody Westbrooks, a right handed college starting pitcher from Georgie Tech. ![]() We lost Sean Murphy for three months in mid June. ![]() One guy I stumbled across and thought it was worth sharing is Trevor Richards. He has been in the rotation in Tampa for three years, and it is not working whatsover. ![]() I will make another post when we get to August 1st. This will include trade recaps and player stat updates. |
