Given the encouraging words of Jason, revmcgator, Charlatan, and Chad I will continue to post crowns and PT playoff hardware, but will wait until late afternoon/early evening on Sundays. Also, since I doubt I'll be checking on the Mundys during the week, I will only post final standings for any league Port Ruppert is in if I see they are missing from the forum during week. Thank you all for your kind words and hard work. It's your comity that makes OL worthwhile.

I would hope that all the new teams will make sure to post their logos for crowning purposes. If anyone wants any help with a logo, post your ideas and I'd be pleased to help. Good luck in PT 22. Perfect draft seems like quick fun so far, but I wish they had pack prizes for it. The pack tear is still my favorite sound bite.

general housekeeping note... when you get a chance, check the online spreadsheet (link at the bottom of the very first post in the thread) and make sure your team name/manager name are correct... still have a handful ot TBD on the team names as well, so for those, whenever you have decided and setup your team, feel free to either update the sheet or post it here and I'll take care of the sheet changes

looking forward to 10am tomorrow so I can get the Syrups rolling... in the meantime, the 5th season of Beer League playoffs should keep me occupied today and avoid the temptation of starting too early

I'm hoping the extra 2 Diamond packs will be a "game changer" for my team, early on......too bad they aren't Historical Packs!

The Daytona Beach Tortugas will be back.. But have decided to wait one week.. I have some very good picks and hopefully will accrue a lot of PP during the week, then sell them off and purchase hopefully a fairly decent starting team..

The 3rd team, the Gettysburg Bullets pulled the worst combination of cards and will have to wait a bit longer...

Looking forward to kicking off Coney Island's forth season tomorrow morning (2nd in OL). In the meantime I used one of my other log ins yesterday and put a team in the entry pool so during the week I can do a little advanced scouting. Hoping the pricing I am seeing in the entry league I am in deflate a bit.

My focus is entirely going to be on my Warriors out of the gate but at some point will go back to this yet unnamed team and will probably add them into the OL mix as I wont play with live cards regardless.

Well, here's my initial two teams. I have to state, this year was the absolute WORST initial card pull in 4 PT seasons. My third team (not shown here) doesn't even deserve to stay in the entry pool, LOL

It's going to be a long season, but at least I have two teams ready to go, and hope to narrate changes as they occur.

Cleveland Grays, 5 Gold, 6 Silver, 14 Bronze, 1 Iron.

Baltimore Barons, 1 Diamond, 6 Gold, 6 Silver, 6 Bronze, 7 Iron

The early seasons are always my favorite. The line-ups are diverse and you have to use players that will be long gone way too soon.

Yeah. It could be that I'm spoiled. I was lucky in all of the previous versions right out of the gate. I think the "God Of Averages" figured I needed a wake-up call.

UPDATE: Some last minute roster moves managed to get the Gettysburg team into the OL before the deadline

I was catching up my friends list and noticed that you had me signed up as Boomcoach, as well as under my other two names. Boomcoach should be removed. I thought I would have one team in BFF this season. I also noticed several teams on the list with -BFF added to their team names. I know some cleanup will inevitably need done, but wanted to point these things out.

I'd forgotten that I had the Madmarcus account on the OOTP forum so I created JesseBarfield from work last week. Then I came home and noticed that this computer had Madmarcus saved. Anyway the Mad Brewers are set but I'll hold off on joining with JesseBarfield until I decide how much time I can invest.

Two teams, Left Coast and Cleveland are each on their own in Rookie League while the other six teams are in Rookie together. All four that qualified for Stone were placed together. While Las Vegas is our sole Iron level team.

While it likely the game caused this (it wouldn't be the first time) make sure once you select use friends list you also click submit team.

I checked the spreadsheet from post 1 and my info is correct. I'm going to assume that since the week 1 leagues have already been formed that it's safe to go ahead and create my team so I'm off to do that right now. See you guys in the real leagues next Monday!

P.S., I won't be compliant in the Entry Pool but I'm going to add the OL to my team so I don't forget to do it next weekend. I will make sure the team is legal by the time league start rolls around next week.
