I honestly thought pull rates were a little unbalanced in the opposite direction. I've opened maybe 130-150 packs and gotten 3 100s. Tommy Bridges, Jim Edmonds, and Matt Chapman when he was 100 OVR. Quite a few gold and diamond from standard packs too. I find silver draws to be just as, if not more rare than gold though. Makes collection missions a bitch.

The relative scarcity of Silver cards is a huge issue this year.

Every year, not just this year.

A duplicate of an underpowered card that was only briefly in my lineup initially, before I found a gold historical that outclassed it.

So the point of my rant is either fix/increase the drop rate for 100s, or buff the Live 100s to the point where they're actually usable, like you claimed to have done in last year's version of Perfect Team. Live 100s don't have to be as good as perfect historicals, but at least put them in the same ballpark as historical diamonds even.

The difference I find in "Live" pitchers vs "Historical" pitchers is the Movement Rating for Live pitchers are generally much lower than Historical cards. And this is in a ERA where movement for current players are better than Historical pitcher IRL. I rarely if not exclusively DON'T use Live cards if I'm going to spend $$$ on PP and I will immediately sale any LIVE card I get in packs unless it's the MLB team I'm playing with. To me "LIVE" cards are useless. 2 teams I earn my points & 1 teams I purchase points if needed

Matt Chapman with a 40 contact and 110 power is useless at any level

The 'fun' of randomness, really. To date I've already pulled two 100 cards (all historics) from tourney won packs, which is double last years total. But not a single diamond. Not one.

Agreed on the balance, or lack of it, between historics and MLB in the high '80s, '90s and '100s. The 'future legends' generally seem to be overpowered as well compared to current MLB of the same 'value'. By now I think people are just used to it.. and it's reflection in the auction place.

You're also trying to compare live cards of 1 season of play (we're not talking Peak Mike Trout card here, the shape of his production has changed even if he is still playing well) to historical cards picked from all years, normally as outliers for one reason or another, that doesn't have their opposition in the game.

It's kind of a moot point though, people refuse to understand how the systems in this game work.
