Another useful feature would be the ability to do an expansion draft preview,
so you can see the expected draft pool based on the options you have selected. You could then make adjustments if you think the draft is too generous or not. |

It would be nice to see some improvements in national teams management.
It's great that now I can see ratings of players eligible to play for a team without scouting them. But it's still somehow limited, because I can't use "compare to" option, filter or ratings spreadsheet on the active roster page (because players are not actually scouted all their ratings are listed as 0 when using this functions). It's also impossible to see ratings of tactical roles for each players on the tactics page. This makes managing smaller national teams a chore. Last edited by Alles; 06-19-2021 at 01:36 PM. |

I'd like to see a faster game speed, like how OOTP went from being slow at 32 bit to now being much faster at 64 bit. I asked about this, but this isn't a priority for FHM8. Would like to see this in FHM9 if possible.
Not that important, but I'd like to see Daniel and Henrik Sedin be inducted into the HHOF in the same class. I think that's how it will happen in real life. They often aren't inducted into the same HHOF class. Also touching on HHOF, I would like to see coaches and general managers have the opportunity to be inducted as builders. I'd like to see a fan system similar to OOTP. Fan interest, say you trade away a star player. The fan interest would decrease, and the opposite as well. Also would like to see ticket prices get added. Should also add Player Personalities like seen in OOTP. For example, Patrice Bergeron would have the Leader personality type. Evander Kane would have a high greed rating. I would also like to see tryouts get added to the American minor leagues (AHL, ECHL, etc.), along with the ability to actually use historical minor league teams (Say you wanted to use the Norfolk in 2011-12 and try and replicate their 28 win streak). |

I'd love to see an option for individual player tactics for fighting. Some guys I want to fight, others I don't, and others I don't mind if they occasionally drop em. I'd like some control over that.

I am a statistics fanatic so would like to see even more of those. Especially the more obscure statistics. One that I would especially like to see is the combined offensive stats for the line. So far I tend to calculate those myself. Really love seeing the numbers for my high-producing lines. Had a line of Connor-Sheiffle-Wheeler get something ridiculous like 290 combined points. And always thought it would be cool to view combined stats for your lines.
Another stat I would like to see is the number of hatricks that a player scores in his career. Sort how they have on some hockey statistics sites like hockey-reference.com Last edited by crusadertsar; 06-22-2021 at 08:30 PM. |

A way to set an age maximum in a custom league, for if you want to simulate a college/junior league of some kind.
A way to set the maximum length of a contract in a custom league. A way to set the maximum amount of contracts a player can sign in a custom league. For example, you can only sign one contract in a league before you can't play there anymore. These requests come from my frequent desire to emulate junior and especially college leagues in a custom league. I even have a fully planned out junior league I want to put into place, but without the above features it's basically impossible to do effectively. |

Do they review these lists? Where can we see what they are planning?
1) simming to end of period or any point or score (i still don't know how people find the time to play every game 2) improved play by play with text to speech. The ability to download the pbp as file so you do out put on any device like phone and listed as if it were actual radio broadcast away from the computer. 3) incorporate out of town scores and news into pbp...again to immerse player in world while listening to the game. 4) tutorials for newer player covering common scenarios, tactics etc. 5) play out games head to head with a friend!!!!!!!! 6) more online leagues 7) allow multiple REAL PLAYER pics. ie headshot, action shot, actual hockey card 8) rink designer (actually don't really care..i really just want simming to period end and radio pbp ; ) 9) better in game help and manual 10) sortable team stats (show the otpb team that team stats can be sorted) 11) makes stats and reports as good as or better than hockey-reference 12) tell us what fatigues does and WHEN it effects player performance (again show up the OTPB dev team and just tell us instead of making us waster hours of our lives trying to figure out the rules of the game) |

7) animated graphics support for player pic would be cool. Would allow 360 degree spinning profile showing front and back of jersey... or just the player in some repeating action sequence.

1 - Ability to run a tournament with any teams (mix historical with current, etc)
2 - Ability to coach either home or away in exhibition. Not sure why you've only been able to coach home only. 2D Engine improvements - Players still skate way too slow. Some players in game take up to 10s to skate from center to goal with no one on them. - Show the skill on the ice...fast players skate faster, etc. -- Stadium designer? I believe it was FM6 where you can see the lines / stats while the game was playing. Now, it's just the ice with the score. Would be nice to see what was in FHM6. |

The most important one for me: Improved fan loyalty system. It seems that most saves have teams decay to Disloyal fan loyalty and staying there. I'd like to see the OOTP approach and have the fan loyalties be a 1-100 system. Teams that win a lot and make the playoffs consistently would have their loyalty increase, and teams that miss the playoffs a lot would have their loyalties decay. Instead of it decaying permanently, they actually can improve by winning games again.
Just a thought because the current FHM loyalty setting is broken and needs fixing in my eyes. |

Team Finances - I would like to see more focus on this, beginning with some/any explanations of what all the budget figures on the team finance page mean, how they are related, and what causes each of those amounts to move up and down.
Also budgets , especially in historical, need to be a lot tighter so every transaction has an impact. The signing of players or staff/scouts, attendances, broadcast rights etc. should all reflect the economy of the time period. At the moment you can just throw money at everything, then completely forget about it as there are no financial pressures. At the start of the season there are a bunch of messages about broadcast rights, but when I'm signing a single player for $10000 per season, it's totally irrelevant to be told the team are receiving $300 for TV rights! |

My List of what I would like to see added in FHM8:
- Ability to Add or Remove Leagues at any point(much like OOTP) - Ability to Choose Uniforms and Logos in Game not having to guess how you typed something then name a file close and relaunch the game - Ability to Add Custom Leagues to Historical - I know far fetched but the ability to change or add nations to the game(probably not the highest on my list but would be nice) I know there are some limitations but it'd be nice to see some more flexibility and creativity like OOTP has for custom league people like me. |
