- The Orioles have demoted RP James Rusnak (5.0, 5.0) to Triple AAA Irving, calling up RP Ryan Fullmer (3.5, 5.0). Rusnak has been struggling for a while this season, with his August ERA being 9.82. Hopefully he'll work some things out before the playoffs.

In other news, CHC SS Barry Brown (3.5, 3.5) joined the NL 6-hit club with a 15-7 win over the Marlins. He joins SD CF Matt Bond and LAD 2B Troy Waters.

- Baltimore has signed SP Oscar Gonzalez (1.5, 1.5) to a minor league deal. We needed some depth in our minor league system, especially with roster expansion occurring soon, so be on the lookout for more minor league signings soon.

Interesting News: Orioles SP Cesar Ramos broke the all-time wins record for a starting pitcher with his 183rd win. This broke the record formerly held by teammate Tyler Boykin, who is sidelined with a torn rotator cuff. Given Boykin's age (37) and current injury, it is believed Ramos may hold onto this record for a while.
