It would be awesome if you had a Statsplus or something like this. You upload csv files into your ftp and you have a cool and nice website with all stats standings records etc.....
Imagine something like this i dream about having something like this with FHM. http://www.lhgmq.ca/ProTeam.php?Team=21#tabmain1 Have a chance to export data and every data with html files not only CSV. And 1 more thing i try to search into those CSV files but i cant see anywhere the contract of the player with the salary. Maybe can add this information somewhere in some CSV. And maybe have the salary for every team in a csv. |

I would really love to have more news items/for the game to place more visual significance on reaching the playoffs, I was simming game by game whilst watching tv the other day and didnt even realise I was in game 2 of the playoffs until i saw the PO next to the result on the top left of the sim screen.
I went back to the mailbox to see if I'd missed something in my haste and there was no message or announcement regarding my team or any other team reaching the post season or any comment on the regular season ending at all. I know this game isnt OOTP but some of their messages that generate towards the end of the regular season and beginning of the post season would add so much to the game, for instance messages that let you know when a team who's in the playoff race finally drop out mathematically, then for teams that reach the playoffs it would be cool to just have a message confirming that and maybe hyping them up for the playoffs with a little shot of their top players from the season you know like top scorer/top assister and maybe goalie save percentage or something. Once matchups are set it would be cool to have preview messages which state the same thing - I know these are shown on the pre match sim screens but most people spend their default time between games in the messages screen anyway, so I just thought it would add to the immersion. This is probably more of a longshot too since it'd require more tech implementation I guess but the 'Pennant Race' screen from OOTP that becomes available towards the end of the regular season showcasing all the teams in the running for the post season would be SO AWESOME - showing their remaining schedule opponents etc for when it's really coming down to the wire between teams. I enjoyed the new Stanley Cup Champions screen and just thought these things would help follow suit with that. |

The current ability to lock certain players in 'lines' tab is very very useful. (Let AI set lines apart from certain players who will stay where you set them)
Now lets have the same feature for the 'time on ice' adjustments. Normally when you ask AI to create lines, it also sets the time on ice settings. I would love for TOI setting to be able to be locked like individual player positions are. |

When doing the entry draft (or any draft for that matter) the button 'next pick' is hella dangerous. Let me explain.
When I want to see individually who each team picks, I always click 'next pick' again and again. Well, once my team is up, very often I will accidentally click the same button before I notice it's my turn. Except this time that same button is 'AI pick'. I have accidentally pressed that button now more times than I remember. Yes it's a user error, but I'm hoping the devs might come up with a solution that would remove this IMHO very likely point where user error will often happen. TL;DR make it so that the 'AI pick' button can't be pressed accidentally when drafting, after you've clicked 31 times the 'next pick' button. Solution could be as simple as relocating the 'AI pick' button so that your cursor isn't automatically on top of that button when clicking through the AI turns. Alternatively, add a popup window asking 'do you really want the AI to pick a player?' It's frustrating when you've spent half an hour analyzing and planning your picks and going through the AI choices one by one, and then 'whoops' you suddenly lose your own pick. I'm playing a custom game and one of my leagues has 3 divisions and 4 playoff spots so it's each division winner plus one other team. I'd like to see the wildcard tab opened up in the standings for situations like this

When we are in the Free Agent area, why do we have to UNSELECT all of the options (General Manager, Scout, Head Coach etc.) every single time instead of them being unselected by default and letting us select what we want to look for?
Nobody goes in there to look for a mashup of every staff position all at once, they go in to look for Scouts or Coaches etc. Seems backwards to me and would be a very easy quality of life improvement. |

Would love to see the line screen follow the lineup screen of OOTP. Being able to filter out players by position. As it is now all you can do is filter by position. Would be easier to eliminate all that doesn't play a certain position.

-When reducing the number of games per season, have the schedule stretch into February and March.
-In historical, scouting of the upcoming draft. And have a list of players who will be eligible for that year's draft. |

And in that case when you want to look at everybody, you can select each box. In the most common scenario, you are only searching for a specific job(s) and not interested in seeing absolutely everybody. So my point stands.

This game needs some serious focus on quality of life improvements and it can be beyond frustrating at times. Instead of adding a ton of new features, developers should be focused on improving a ton of issues which I'm now listing as I come across them during play.

Move all of the Offensive / Defensive / Mental / Physical ratings to the Profile window so we don't have to make an extra click every single time we want to look at a players stats.
Put some of the other stuff on the Profile page onto another tab as it's not nearly as important as the stats and change the Potential and Scouting Grade areas to display these differently because its a ton of wasted space that could be used for the ratings. |

I've loved the added financial system this year, but I'd love to be able to customize the financial settings of custom leagues. Stuff like average salary, attendance, and broadcast revenue. It would be a huge boost to custom leagues in my view.

I am hoping this will get resolved. So I have a custom league that uses FHM. It becomes pointless when people go for certain builds to exploit the flaws it has. So they will build checking and hitting up to gain an unrealistic amount of turnovers and get an ungodly amount of goals that way. 8-12 Goal games. Regardless of if the team has lower overall rated players. they will get 50-60 sometimes 70-80 shots a game. I was hoping sliders could be added for amount of goals and shots and turnovers to make it more realistic not only in NHL franchises but in custom as well.

When you're in screen like Free Agents for example and you sort it by whatever option, lets say Potential, and then you click into a player because you want to look more into them, then you go back to the Free Agent screen, it shouldn't reset your sort order and it should be the same as it was as you sorted it. The way it is now you have to sort the order again every single time you click into a player.
There are so many quality of life improvements that need to be made in this game in these ways related to the UI and navigation. Stop adding new features and clean up the existing product please so its more user friendly and enjoyable to play. |

There should be no offseason restrictions on spending / resigning. When I sign prospects that are meant to play in the AHL the next season, they shouldn't be impacting my cap and my ability to sign a free agent due to being 'over budget'.
On the FA signing page under Team Financial Info its saying my Payroll Budget is $108M and current payroll is $89M however my Money Remaining is only $1.7M. Shouldn't it be the difference between my budget and my payroll? The reason was because I have an open negotiation with a player for an $11M contract however I have not offered him anything firm, just had the "offer contract" open to see what he wanted and I know if I close it, he won't negotiate with me for a period of time. That shouldn't be impacting my budget at all or ability to sign players. Especially when the new contract negotiation won't come into effect until next season at which point I have a ton of other large contracts ending and will be way within my budget even if I make a couple of big signings this offseason. In addition, on the same screen, my Cap Hit is $88M on this screen however on the Cap Obligations screen it is only $78M. |

Nowhere does it indicate what kind of attendance I am getting at my games or my average annual attendance to assist me in my decision to raise or lower ticket prices or change marketing tendencies. This would be helpful to know.

The trade system needs a complete rework. Some issues, but not all, are:
The AI never offers me any kind of counter trade offer ever so there is no indication of who they may be interested in on my team or even how close we are to a deal. Instead, I have to make the offer and wait for the inevitable NO WAY message with no counter offer and then try again. When you complete a successful trade, it's like nothing happened. Some sort of confirmation before the window closes would be nice. I was offered a prospect for a player I had on the trade block but I wanted a low draft pick so I countered with a 6th round draft pick and had to wait for the inevitable NO WAY message. After which point they had no interest in fulfilling the exact same trade. If they had immediately countered with a negotiation that wouldn't have been an issue. There is absolutely no indication of which teams a player who has a No Movement Clause is interested in going to so instead I have to try to add them to a trade with every single team until they are in the box which adds a bunch of extra time when actively trying to trade somebody with a clause. Would be much easier if I could see and directly target the teams they're interested in. Clearly the game knows behind the scenes what these teams are and in real life, management would too. After the season when trading during the draft it would be nice to know what number the pick I am trading for is. Already made the mistake of thinking I was trading for a Top 10 pick without realizing it was a lower pick in the draft because they had multiple round one picks. I should be able to offer a player to a team and have them send an offer of who they would trade for that player if they are interested in them. Last edited by 3z4rivyirn; 03-01-2022 at 01:54 PM. |

I'd like to be able to see this information perhaps at the annual financial decisions screen too. However dude, you can get a basic overview of that information on the 'history' tab from within your team as shown in the first screen shot and a more detailed breakdown of it through the 'stats' then 'team attendance' tab as shown in the second screenshot.
